With the latest dip and bear market in 2018. things are pretty boring.

We can't tell for sure when this is going to happen for now. Many experts have speculated that it will hit $25,000 by year ending. I definitely think if ETF is approved this ATH could come sooner than expected.

The current price is $6,300...that's 31.5% of $20,000. Which means that when demand is 3.17 times what it is today, with supply nearly the same, the price will return to $20,000.

I wouldn't expect that kind of growth to happen this year.

I'm still optimistic to bitcoin that still it has a guts to surpass ATH this year. well, bitcoin not play, hodlers and traders does. The most important thing is get ready for what soon to happen

I think when the supply decrease and demand increase price of bitcoin will automatically increase.Its a volatile crypto currencies  and we have to wait until its demand increase.

I'm still optimistic to bitcoin that still it has a guts to surpass ATH this year. well, bitcoin not play, hodlers and traders does. The most important thing is get ready for what soon to happen  

the bitcoin was having a problem now. so many of the user and investor was planning to hold and the other planning to quit in this industry because they think that this industry would not rise anymore. one of my friend told me that she planned to quit in this industry because the loss of her money was big.

I would say 3 years from now.
The goal for this year would be somewhere above 8000. And then for next year 2019, we should aim for ~15k.
Lastly 2020 we can probably go to 20k. Which is a really hard mission.

I don't know for sure(as no one knows anyway), but probably years from now. Why? Bitcoin rose in price in late December last year because of the hype. Now, pretty much a good percentage of the people worldwide has already heard of bitcoin one way or another. The same kind of hype is not going to get us to increases that high, now, I think adoption is what's going to get us to prices that high.

No one can predict BTC price anymore. if any one claims that they can predict, they are telling lie.

All experts failed to predict this such a low price of $6k from $20k. Every one expected a correction but not such a drastic fall. All those expert people predicted that Bull run will come in summer and nothing happened. Every time they mention about BULL run, BTC price drops even further!

BTC is not giving any dammn to any predictions, it will doing it's own thing.  To your question, we may have to wait till next halving which is 2020 to see a $20k again unfortunately...

Every one is talking about, but it won't do any good at all. it's same as Bitcoin future, people were so hyped for it, But what it did was crashed the BTC market. BTC future destroyed the whole btcc market. I think ETF will do the same....   So basically we HOLDER will have to wait very long time. IF ETF is approved there will be a little price increase, then all the new hodler will sell with little profit and quite the market. At that time BTC price will fall again.  If ETF is denied, BTC will crash again for no reason...  so either way we BTC hodler are doomed for a while...

Previous value is over know so we should expect future value. The current market not stable so we don't predict the future value of Bitcoin. My prediction it will cross the 20k USD in next year because ETF is not success in crypto so still many peoples are stay away in the market. All the peoples are waiting for the future hype so we must wait and see the future results.

When compared to last year market this year it should be $30k. But now it's struggling to show it's range. It's quite complicated to predict anything here. But still investors hold yourself and have patience, it still believe It will bounce back in the last quarter like it did last year. My suggestion it will few months as per the situation.

I think that the price of bitcoin will reach this level not earlier than in 6 months. Bitcoin should accumulate and accept the support of the bullish trend, and it will take time, but still bitcoin has a very good technology and idea. It will not be constantly in a downward movement.

Boring? This clearly shows that you are here for the wrong reasons. This also clearly shows that you can't benefit from a market in decline. In other words, you are out to book easy profits on the way up due to hype pumps. Just take a long break and come back somewhere in November to see if the market changed its sentiment, or start using Bitcoin as money right away (best option).

The more you use Bitcoin, the less you get bothered by how "boring" current market is. Usage is your only savior with how we won't be seeing anything close to $20,000 for a longer period of time.

Hodlers doomed? Not sure what your definition of a hodler is, but it's highly flawed. The only people suffering right now are get rich quick noobs.

I think that anything can happen this year in bitcoin it can possibly reach 20k usd this year but the percentage of it is small. Maybe next year it can hit about 20k or more we really don't know what's going to happen. All we can do now is hodl out btcs and hope that it will be going up this upcoming christmas.

It could be years before we return to that high, but crypto currency does move really fast, so it could be sooner.  I think greater effort should be made to bring shoppers to crypto.  My dogecoins rose a few times, and I sold them and bought things with the money.

At least 2 years, from now until the end of 2018 I think the price will go down 5000$ and side way up to mid-2019. Then the market will recover gradually and if possible early in 2020 we will see the bitcoin price above 20000$
