This week we dedicated our time and effort to advertising, technological tuning and legal side of our blockchain solution for bookmakers.

First of all, we started the production of commercials for our advertising campaign, which will be launched in Europe, Asia and South Africa.

Moreover, we decided to participate in general cybersecurity conference called HackIT - an annual practical information security related forum.

As you know, Betmatch team is concerned with providing the customers with the most secure and legal services, so we began to work on receiving online gaming license under the Curacao jurisdiction.

-Passive delegates, who will be able to lease XBM tokens without having a specific owner-oriented community. Other players will randomly use their tokens, but they won’t have any control on frequency of using their  tokens and earnings.

-Active delegates, who will be able to generate valuable content in order to attract attention of the community and become a unique service provider as, for example, analysts.

Starting from January 1, 2019, a betting rate of 2% will be applied in Ireland. It was announced on Tuesday by the Minister of Finance of Ireland, Pascal Donohue. It is expected that bookmakers will not be able to burden players with higher taxes.

The minister explained that the government’s priority is to level the playing field by increasing the tax for remote bookmakers and exchanges.
Sheron Byrne, Chairman of the Association of Irish Bookmakers (IBA), explained that in connection with the adoption of the law, about 300 companies will be forced to close. In addition, about 1,500 people will lose jobs.
