I'm not sure who I'll bet on though if there's ever a rematch. We know Pretty Boy is gonna just dance around - if he want to maintain his status, he'd want to retire with no losses.

I'll bet for sure Manny Pacquiao rather than Floyd Mayweather, team Floyd had made different excuses to team Pacman. They didn't want to fight because they know that they can't win against Pacman. As what I have read on a blog I saw that their CEO was said that Floy has retired and not showing interest but the reality is they want a loss that probably happens. I hope there's a rematch tho.

There could be a rematch - if the money is large enough.   

I almost never watch Pac's fights but when I saw the match with Mayweather later, I was also pissed. Even people who have no interest or knowledge in boxing like my mom found it lousy. There was almost no action.

Until when would the people drop it already? If he doesn't want to fight just because the money is not enough then they should have to find another fighter who is worthy than him. I don't know if he is just too afraid or too greedy but the bottom line here is they should have to stop this eagerness to fight between these two great fighters. We all know how dirty this sport when there is large money involve.

. They seem to go fight the most obscure boxers. Whenever Pac gets in a new match my reaction is "Who's that guy". Almost makes me believe what some people were saying that boxing as a sport is pretty much dead. More and more people seem to prefer the rawness of MMA.

Are you sure with that? As far as I know when I watxhed Pacquiao Vs Mayweather lasg few years ago and the fight ids closely and I think points only why Mayweather won on their fights. If he really wants to prove that he can win again so better to have Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 and Im excited on that.

Lol, he probably didn't watched the fight before. If Mayweather will really win the rematch then why is he afraid of giving Pacman the fight? Anyways, Pacman is really willing and even though they have a encounter lately, it doesn't mean that the fight will push through. So many variables for Mayweather to really not pursue this fight and just remain as a promoter to Gervonta Davis.

I don't think he's afraid. For me floyd clearly won and was the better fighter during the first fight. Yeah a lot of hugging and running, but that's boxing. Just goes to show that he knows how to win and he understands that game too much to use these technicalities to his advantage. And pacquiao knows this is mayweather's style even before they fought. The fact that he still wasn't able to counter that style shows how efficient mayweather is and why he's still undefeated. If pacquiao can't beat him despite knowing what floyd has to offer, then a second fight would have the same result for sure.

This is still hot topic up until now for boxing fans.
Mayweather knows how to strategize to win by technicalities.
But most boxing fans want to see the real action inside the ring, those hugging and running were being trashed by many.
They are not in their prime time anymore. If they will fight again, it is more of defending their prestige in the boxing history.
But I doubt, Mayweather's style will change. So it will be the same scenario. They will just rake money from fans.

I wonder if FM would just follow what Michael Jordan after gaining fame from his career before and go on a full mode of gambling. I mean, he does have a lot of money and why would he want it more? Isn't this a greedy act of gaining money from most of his fans? At least MJ showed his real talent and kick those asses before without fear, unlike FM. No, I don't think that Floyd is like that. Gone are the days wherein he really goes and fight the best. Just look at his resume in the 130-135 lbs, he beat a lot of great fighters that time.

Of course majority of us wanted to see Floyd going toe to toe against Pacman, but that's not his style. He might not be afraid, but the risk is still there for him to lose to Pacman, imho. But what can we do? Maybe we can't really see a rematch after all.

That’s the best reason why we will have another fight with these two, MONEY and of course a good show to people that it looks like a real fight. Everyone here wants to see these two great boxers in a clash for the second time. Don't look at that strategy in a bad way, I know you are talking about Floyd's fighting style but it's a strategy that every fan was pissed off including me.

Boxing isn't just about strength, endurance and speed. Being wise is also part of the game so having that kind of annoying strategy can affect the opponent but I don't think that Manny is annoyed with that strategy. But for us, fans, ofcourse we are.

Currently he is looking for his next opponent and a lot has already stepped forward and called his name but Manny has not selected who will face him in his next fight.

Pacquiao is so much immersed in politics now in the Philippines as he is a senator, which is a national government position. It will be hard for him to balance his responsibilities as a public official with his interest in boxing.

And with so much politic chaos in the Philippines right now, I don't think the people there will all be in favor of Manny fighting Mayweather again.

So the odds are really stacked against any Pacquiao-Mayweather fight 2. And if the rematch ever happens, Pacquiao will be the underdog.

If he is really willing they can find ways to make this happen.

Hopefully Mayweather will catch that idea of fighting Manny for the second time, as most of us know exactly how clever Floyd is. He won't risk fighting Pacquiao without the favor of money for him when that proba probable fight could happen. Both of them were tough fighters in history of boxing, so speaking about money related cases that's the most important on them as a boxer. Although Manny was a politician in Ph, it doesn't bothered him fighting for the honor of the country as long as he's fit and capable to fight he'll do his best to win and bring legacy to his boxing career.

I remember he said that he is willing to fight again in May. Probably after the Philippine election. But as majority of you know by now, Floyd will not entertain a possible rematch so don't expect it. I know Pacman is senator in the last few years and he balance being senator here in the Philippines and boxing.
But I suggest to him focus of what he really want, but because his mom talking about his retairment and I think Pacman. Will decide to retire next few years but I hope this rematch will happen.

Yeah he maybe 42 but still physically fit for fighting and same as Manny Pacquiao they are just year in age gap so theres no other reason to deny the bought,in terms of money they are both richer ,in terms of health they are both fit,what we all need now is the answer from Mayweathers camp as Pacquiaos camp is only on the waiting position
