But the money he got from endorsements is just peanut though as compare to fighting Manny which is going to be the biggest fight ever again. He goes out prior to the announcing of the winner in the Pacquiao-Thurman, because he knows for sure that he will be called out by Manny, hehehehe. He will be tempted to come back and fight Manny one last time -- if the price is right.  Grin
Wrong, the money that Mayweather are getting from the endorsements are actually really high and mind that he is just doing nothing about it just smiling to everyone wearing the products can be the easiest money making every athlete can make. He currently have all the money that he could ever imagined from businesses down to endorsement and any other investments.

Take a look at the recent Instagram post of Floyd Mayweather and check if there's a hint of a rematch in the next coming months or perhaps years

"I find it real ironic how every time Pacquiao's name is brought up in the media, my name is always attached to it. This man's entire legacy and career has been built off its association with my name and it's about time you all stop using my brand for clout chasing and clickbait and let that man's name hold weight of its own. For years, all you heard was that " Floyd is afraid of Manny Pacquiao". But what's funny is, when we finally fought, I won so easily that everyone had to eat their words! All of the so called boxing experts, critics and jealous American "fan base" either went mute and ran for cover or made every excuse in the world as to why I should give Manny Pacquiao a rematch. My take on all this bullshit is that y’all are just upset that I broke Rocky Marciano's record and hate the fact that a Black, high school dropout outsmarted you all by beating all odds and retiring undefeated while maintaining all my faculties simply by making smart choices and even smarter investments. Ultimately, I will always have the last laugh!"

He is making money without breaking a sweat. He will not give up that record because if he did, his market value will go down and Senator Manny's market value will skyrocket.

I think what matters most to Floyd right now is his pride (but then again lol even he has that record he didn't gain the respect of the fans unless he can convincingly defeat Pacman). Based on his statement he clearly stands for his pride and to be fair here is what have pacman said about the latest twits from floyd

Next year is 2020.  Tongue

everybody will be excited if that happen.  Pacquiao need rematch to prove his seld to everybody that he can still beat Mayweather I do not know why there is a lot of hindrance why this rematch still not happening even that is one of the people's waiting.
Pacman doesn't have to prove anything anymore. He has prove a lot of things and Floyd will still have the final laugh whether he'll take this match or not.

If they both fight each other for rematch, its already proven for Floyd a dirty fight which isn't fair to watch for Manny's fans. Pacman is a fair and humble boxer, that's why he's successful because of his attitude not just on the ring but the entire personally he had. If they wanted proof for Pacman, just watch all the previous fight reviews he had since from the start of his boxing career including his latest legacy from Thurman.
I don't see Floyd's style as dirty style, every boxer has their own style of fighting and if Floyd's style is dirty, do you think that they will allow him to fight again? I'm not a Floyd Mayweather fan but we're thinking that his strategy is dirty because Manny lost on him. The fight is fair, it's just Floyd's tactic is simply to hit and run which we really are annoyed of watching.

I think with this statement he is not planning to have the second part of their epic battle, he already retires and he is having a great life outside the boxing, and I also read that he has done enough to beat Pacquiao, hr has done it precisely that he doesn't need to do it again, so we cannot expect a second match between the two.

On his latest Instagram post, he sounds like he was triggered by the twitter post of Manny saying something about to stay relevant. And Floyd continues by  saying he made $9 Million USD under 3 minutes comparing the fight purse of Senator Manny Pacquiao who earned $10 million USD in 12 rounds. If this back and fort statement between this 2 fighters continues, I guess there's a chance for a rematch.

Definitely, the way I understand on his statement, it seems there is no rematch happening.
Both will retire as good fighter but Manny will remain the legend between the two despite he was beaten by Mayweather.
People doesn't care of the record anymore, they care for what the fighter can give and that's what Manny are doing.

I still think that Manny owned that match. Floyd's running away from Manny and all the "hugs" were much more than his punches (at least that's what I think, though.)

But yeah. People nowadays care more about how the fighters performed rather than the outcome. However, with all the chit chats by both fighters in social media, who knows that they'll finally decide to settle things through a square off inside the boxing ring, right? I'll just stay tuned.

He's pissed off with all the noise that the fans has made. He doesn't have plans to rematch against Pacquiao but if the offer is something that can't be rejected, he can change his mind. But if its about the title as undefeated and retiring without someone breaking that record, it's his legacy and I think that he will take care of it. He doesn't care with all that noise that he's been hearing about rematch and beat Manny again, he's literally outsmarted everybody.

but if the offer is something that can't be rejected, he can change his mind.

Mayweather made a lot of money in the first fight, if there's  rematch, he might make more, I think it's just about his undefeated record, nothing more.

Right, Manny is just responding to Mayweather when he said that, but I consider it as Manny firing the shot at Mayweather with his tweet

https://twitter.com/MannyPacquiao/status/1153863517629505537

Quote
@FloydMayweather You come to my fight and then use my name in a post but I’m the one that is trying to stay relevant? 🤔 if you want to be relevant again... #MayPac2

That $9 Million fight by Mayweather though is really questionable so his argument is very flawed at the beginning. I think the rematch will eventually happen, there is too much money to be made here specially for Floyd that in the next six months he will come out of his self proclaimed retirement and fight Pacquiao for the money.

Well if that’s the case so he must consider the fight for the Second time since he already defeat Pacquiao and what stops him from doing it again!

Knowing how he loves money?ofcourse nothing is impossible for him to accept

He was not convince he defeated Manny I guess because that time, Manny had an shoulder injury, this time Manny is fully healthy so he could be in big trouble, that's the worst case scenario. He is not showing some hint of fighting, he just want to convince people that he is a better boxer as he defeated Manny and he is also undefeated, but all of that doesn't matter to the people, they want rematch.

Floyd style of fighting is not a dirty style but a conny cause he usually went for the fight that will be in his favor and he even said it clearly when he was interview by the TMZ right before his last fight with Manny "that the fight is always his rules" cause he's always after his record and the money involve.

For sure with this current trends with changing words around social medias this two fighters are hyping the possibilities of getting the rematch, Mayweather still convincing people that he's the best after defeating Manny and from that post where he's dragging Pacman's name a good answer
was been send to him by Pacman, it's time for him to talk about the fight, and knowing how many Millions will be at stake Mayweather will always
after that $$$..

People doesn't care of the record anymore, they care for what the fighter can give and that's what Manny are doing.
Agreed, Floyd may be unbeaten in his boxing career but still Manny has a better image. I actually don't want to see a rematch between them simply because Floyd will just show the same tactic as before and if Manny can't KO Floyd, the same result will be in the end. We all know the only way to win against Floyd is to beat him via KO which is impossible because of his tactic. Named as fight of the century but turned out as boring.

May be it's time to lock this thread. Floyd could not have told this in a more direct manner. He is very clear in his post. What he is saying is:

1. He is retired from boxing
2. He is proud of his unbeaten record
3. He has proved that he is a better boxer than Manny Pacquiao

Now we all need to accept the fact that Floyd doesn't see any solid reason to fight Manny again. I will never blame Floyd. He was asked to fight Manny and he did. If Manny had won, in all probability he would have also refused a repeat fight.

Grin

I've watched this in the news, on it is right that on the statement of Floyd Mayweather it is cleared that there will be no more rematch
will be happen, unless Floyd needs a million dollars to earn, probably He will suddenly change his mind to have a rematch to Senator
Manny Paquiao, but as of the moment no sign for that.

There's a possibility of a rematch, everybody is taunting Mayweather to do it again, P[acquiao is far better now, but once he beat the winner of Spence and Porter Mayweather will think of fighting Pacquiao but Manny would be 42 by then, and that could be another story.

This is just pure marketing guys, nothing else. Do you really think these fighters will have a twitter/instagram war and then go back to their lives? Impossible. They are known for their friendly moves towards each other as well, yeah they are definitely warriors when they are on the ring but outside they are just smart business people.

With manny fighting again and feeling comfortable it is quite possible that they are doing all of this stunts like they are making thing up and what not is actually a way for people to start talking about them again. If they didn't want a rematch then they wouldn't even talk about it but since they are talking about it again that means the fight must be on it is way. Manny wouldn't lose too much value because he is retiring and he already spent most of his earned money into investments unrelated to his name, he could lose 10+ in a row and still be rich thanks to his investments.

But for now the we can do is for wait for the next announcement. Pacquiao even the older he consistent strong because he proved again what he did last fight.

Exactly, that is what we are all been waiting for, a rematch between the two greatest boxers of our generation. If Mayweather beats Pacquiao again then good, he will have his unbeaten record and his legacy. But he seems that very interested specially with what Pacman gave us this weekend.
