in my opinion eth will still be the best investment choice after bitcoin. because even though eth values are now down eth still has a large trading volume compared to other altcoins. and also eth remains the platform of most ICOs. so investors are still interested in investing in eth. I am also sure that when the price of bitcoin rises, eth will also rise. suitable for long-term investment.

The decline of ETH was connected to the failing of the ICO market last year and less investors being  interested for it.

The decline of eth is caused by the fall of bitcoin but the fall of eth did also cause for the ico to decline . ico investors might loosen up a bit but not the eth and btc investors because they are aware that both coins are legit and the fall is only normal not unlike to ico's that the fall can become permanent and can lead to scamming  .

In the meantime , eth isnt only the best possible option for long term investment because there are actually lots of good coins out there that can also be a better alternative next to etherium  .

In my opinion, yes, because ethereum and bitcoin are the most stable coins on the market and it is obvious that you should invest in them and if you invest in them, in most cases you won't regret about that.

Here are some of my opinion regarding the price drop of eth.  Eth has become trending when ICO last 2017 hit the market. Lots of ICO, prefer eth payment to purchase their token so many investors buy eth the reason why it pump so hard.

Now that ICO is fading and replace by IEO, I think the competiton becomes tight since most exchange prefer their own token to participate on their IEO. Meaning the investors eth or btc will be used to buy this hence price of this will drop.


Now the market will stay as it is but new leaders will probably the exchange with their tokens.
