why is there no linux wallet?

There is no linux wallet and no source code released for the sole purpose of keeping the large mining pools from driving out the small individual miners, since 99.9% of the large mining pools use linux. That is also the reason there is only one official pool that limits max hash rate, per person to 25mhs. (and the pool pays a bonus to CPU miners, as well). Although the coin can be solo mined in windows, very few miners do it, so this has been our defense against the bigger asics, as well.

What type of payout would solo mining in windows give?

If you are talking CPU solo mining, it is currently running  100 - 150 a day, with the bonus we pay to miners using a small amount of hash.

If you are talking solo mining from windows, using an attached ASIC, it can be 10s of thousands, depending on the size of the ASIC.

The new site is great.

Thanks, we needed to upgrade it! There are so many projects we are working on, I am glad we got that one finished. We are working on a video for it as well.

I like this coin. Although rather new to Cryptos at least it's going to be resistant to Farms and the cause is worthy. I've mined a few and will continue to do so as I am an Artist, Songwriter, Musician, Sculptor.. Blah blah blah.

(Will Donate to others in the industries and help promote)...

Great to see a coin for a specific cause.

Excuse my post being off base but just wanted to say thanx!

Thanks First.Bit! Will head to twitter and create and feed.

Have a good friend in the Movie industry, Will get him onboard and started in this area. He has no comprehension of Cryptos,
nor did I until a few months ago.

His social network is expansive as he has played in quite a few films including "Oz the great and Powerful".

His advertisement would definitely help push this puppy!

Have a great day all!

I came across this great site which is an alternative to using kickstarter. This is for smaller ongoing works and would be well complemented by using applebytes as a payment option. I have emailed and asked them if this is possible. Could someone from the applebytes team see if this is possible?

It is not being delisted. That is an automated response if volume drops below minimums for the last week. The coin then has a week to get the volume back up.

I have noticed so far this week that the volume is up above the minimum.

AppleByte is currently ranked 5th out of all altcoins on Coingecko.com when sorted by user community size & engagement.

We have 13,400+ twitter followers and 11,700+ Facebook followers.
AppleByte supported over 500 artists in 2014 with donations, awards and tips.

The key to long term growth of an altcoin is not the number of speculators it has on exchanges, but is the growth in real users of the coin.

Please check out the communities yourself:
Website: AppleByte.me
Facebook: AppleByteMe FB Page
Twitter: AppleByteMe Twitter

As to this thread being shorter than the ANN threads of many coins, there are two reasons:

1. If you scan through most of those threads, you will find many pages of posts about things not working. You will not see that often on the AppleByte ANN thread. When we release something, it works.

2. For the most part, the members of Bitcointalk are enamored with "technological" improvements, searching for the next botcoin. We can tell you from experience, promoting AppleBytes to the normal man on the streets, 80% of them still do not know what bitcoin is. The Bitcoin or Crypto 2.0 altcoins popular here are light-years from being accepted by the general public.
