Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

This seems interesting, but some questions? How can one use these, in a practical manner, at restuarants and concerts like said on the site? Wouldn't they need to sell to BTC (thus hurting the ABY value) then cash out their BTC if they have the means to.

From the beginning we have provided a redemption service where artists and fans can redeem ArtBytes (formerly AppleBytes) for gift cards.
See: Places to use AppleBytes - http://applebyteme.invisionzone.com/index.php?/forum/25-places-to-use-applebytes/

Nice new logo Dev.
Also the price is going up, nice..
Difficulty going up as well, so no cheap dumping from miners.

Eh, only like what, .4-.5 BTC of selling to bring it back down. This coin for now is to focus on the purpose, not price really.

Yes you are right, but it's nice to see some movement. Also its good that the coin is backed by good dev, which stands behind his coin so long. Not like some p&d coins dev's.
Looking forward...

ArtByte releases the latest version of its music download site that allows fans to purchase music with ArtBytes.

Sponsored by the ArtByte Foundation, musicians keep 100% of proceeds, free to list and never any fees to artists.

There are no limits on the pool. Those were removed back in June.

Not sure what is happening. We have had individual miners using ASICs up to 300mhs and everything works.

It seems they closed stratum servers and just mine for themselves to make profit. I tried solo mining wih A2 asic, but no luck with ABY, with other coins it works just fine. More of that - my coins on the pool are STILL unconfirmed after 10 days!!!
Hey, devs, can you reply something???

We apologize for the problem with the pool server. Our dev responsible for the pool has been traveling and unreachable. He is back now, so the server should be up shortly.

What about coin confirmation on your pool? My coins mined more than two weeks ago are still unconfirmed. And new coins also. Check this please.
