Polo delisting...

I just heard of this on this forum. I have received no notification from Poloniex, but did see it on their page. I am contacting them to find out what is going on.

In the mean time, remember the ABY is traded on Bittrex as well:
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-ABY

But this will affect demand, many investors will throw  Sad

I emailed support to ask them why ABY is to be delisted on Poloniex. This was their answer:

Hi Mike Cabaniss,

We list and delist coins for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, there are no specific criteria for doing so.

Best regards,
Joshua Anders

This obviously tells me nothing, so I emailed Tristan D'agosta, who is the founder of Poloniex and have not heard from him yet. This is all very bizarre, I have known Tristan for two years and he is also an artist.

I ask all trader's of ArtByte to email Tristan at busoni@poloniex.com & busoni@gmail.com and let him know that you would like ArtByte to stay listed.

not that strange since you don't even listen to your community here, because artbyte is meant only for the artists and what not... right?

That is not what I said. I have posted many times about how a coin needs miners, speculators, and real users to be successful. I did say and have always believed that speculators & miners are not enough to give a coin long term success. For long term success, a coin must have real users, for ArtByte that is the community of artists and art fans.

so listen to your miners and speculators who say that you at least need a block explorer to start off with.. how do you even call artbyte a cryptocurrency without one i don't even know.

This is how ABY ETH Token distribute to ABY owners.

1 Billion total ABY supply
12 Million total ABY ETH Token
2 Million for further coin development

so,

(1 Billion / 10 Million) = 100 ABY = 1 ABY ETH Token.

we will setup swap form to fillout ,based on that we will give you ABY ETH token.

for example..

if you have 100 applebyte then you will get 1 ABY ETH token. using swap form we will give you a address to deposit applebyte and ABY ETH token field where you need fill ABY token address to get new coins.

step by step instruction will be release after dev and community agree.

ABY ETH token is nothing but moving applebyte to new ethereum based blockchain so in future we can develop advanced smart contract applications.

http://music.artbyte.me/ needs a major rework and marketing campaign. Your core service offering / platform is in the form of this music marketplace, problem is nobody uses it!

There are also several other coins that attempt to solve an existing problem of the music industry with the blockchain. Maybe this is a good read:
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/three-startups-trying-to-transform-the-music-industry-using-the-blockchain-1447444594

1. Peertracks, strives to use the blockchain technology to develop an artist equity trading system.

2. Bittunes, strives to create an independent music market.

3. Ujo Music, seeks to design a system to fix global royalty distribution and licensing problems faced by the industry.

4. MUSE will also allow artists to create their own “Notes” – a limited edition, cryptographic token that acts like a VIP pass into the artist’s career.

Where does Artbyte stand among these blockchain based music solutions?

Each of these have a unique value proposition within the music industry. Something which Artbyte badly needs.

There's a lot that can be done, if the dev is willing to bring ABY to the next level. Ideas are plentiful but DEV you need to get your act together and make decisions!
