The difference in AppleBytes and other coins supporting the arts is our focus on getting the coins in the hands of the users in one specific market, NYC. NY has the greatest concentration of artists of all types of any city in the world.

For decades now, artists have come to NY, in hopes of taking a bite out of the "Big Apple" NYC. That's why our focus is on getting the word out in the community before releasing coins to the miners and speculators. In addition to technical talent, our development team includes artists from all fields who live and work in NY. We will literally be attending live events all over the city, giving AppleByte wallets to musicians, painters, actors, photographers, etc.

To be successful a coin needs a real community, in addition to the roles (very valid roles) that the miners and speculators play. Without the community, or next gen technical improvements, a coin becomes just another pump and dump scheme.
