There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Coming in two weeks! - $20 VISA card for 2000 ABY

At the current ABY rate 2000 ABY is worth .0011 BTC. So I can make $19 here?

Compared to the current price at Poloniex that is correct. We only went live May 1, so I don't think the crypto community realizes the value the AppleByte Foundation brings to the coin. But they will.

Also, realize we are using the VISA card primarily to build value for our user community, so initially we will limit it to one card per user and see how it goes.

Why won't you add your coin to coinmarketcap.com ? It's pretty efficient way to promote it, and it's kinda easy:

Criteria for a coin to be added:
  • Must be a cryptocurrency
  • Must be traded on a public exchange that is older than 30 days and with an API available.
  • Must have a public URL that displays the total supply (total mined so far).

If you would like to request to add a coin, please fill out the request form with ALL required fields.
