I have the same experience with you especially when I entered this community. I was always thinking about money and I really don't know what is the important thing in joining this community. In the end, our mission is to support it. And the money will come along. We can't just keep on joining bounties and invest in it. We must find a way to improve it.

I am really interested in this question. And you might be surprised, but I came here not only for money, but on the first place I put the feeling that I can do something important. Cryptocurrency world is not a teaching, medicine or life guard area, but i am a strong believer that every person should do something important for him, his family and friends and for other people as well. So I am thinking of becoming some kind of cryptocurrency consultant or something like that. But I understand that in order to achieve this goal I need to have a perfect portfolio and to become a highly qualified professional myself. I am ready to hard work for years, but i want to know how much time will I need? One year is not enough but what about three or four years? Will it be enough? What do you think? Thank you very much and good luck with your business.
Experience will always be the best teacher for us to learn and I think it is the vital part of learning process and if you combine it with trainings I am sure you will get far in no time. I have this one person whom I am following and I can see that she is very passionate with cryptocurrency. She often attended conferences to different places and she also took some short courses via online and it is all about cryptocurrency and I consider her a pro in this business.

Beyond constant practice that could lead to improvement and near perfection, getting a grip on psychology and emotions are vital requirements if OP wants to turn pro in an industry as speculative as cryptocurrency. It doesn't matter the number of years they spend in cryptos.

For becoming a pro in cryptocurrency you do not require a lot of time. I think it is a month at maximum and after that you will be pro if you have enough money to manipulate the environment. Other than this, no one can be a pro at cryptocurrency and predict or speculate at right.

I do not think that there is a definite end point, which should be formed in a similar way as a PRO, it seems to me that there are so many different areas in which I constantly learn throughout my life.

It depends on you and you wish to become one. All people are different and I think you would try several sectors in the crypto industry until you will find a method that fits you. Best of luck in your journey in this great industry!

I see where you are coming from and i am not here to reply as a pro. What i believe is that everyone has his or her own pace, i can become a professional at a particular thing within months and it might take another person years to master just the basics of that same thing. I don't think anyone here can tell you exactly how long it would take for you to be a professional in cryptocurrency because your success pace and theirs is different; after all, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. So start your journey and let every other thing fall in place.

I don't think there is a qualification to be a pro, even the experts are still learning because at any time there is something new. for me it's not a pro problem or not the most important thing as much as possible don't fail.

for me, it's not about how long it takes to be a pro but how far can we learn about searching and learning about crypto. time is not a basis of knowledge but enthusiasm will make a difference. as you are in crypto learning is not ending

learning and experience are needed because there will be something later. To be pro may require a process and is not easy, so go ahead with everything and do your best to make your path easier and not fail. and of course you do everything so you don't fail.

I know people who have been working with cryptocurrencies for a very long time. But I still think that it is necessary to study all the time, many people call themselves professionals. But in reality this is far from the case.

It takes more time than it used to. Because you needed to take failure to gain a slot to becoming a pro. Because you don't gain experience as long as you don't suffer in any losses.

It takes as long as your interest bro. If you're interested in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, you have to be patient and watch videos that will help explain things quickly and very well.

I also want to become professiona in crypto currency industry. From my point of view you should waste 10 000 hours to become expert in crypto currency. During last year I spent around 4000 hours in crypto, so in 2 years I will become an expert)

What matters is who you want to be. If you want to become a specialist in creating blockchain projects, then you need to learn programming and design. If you want to learn how to analyze projects from the point of view of investing in them, then you need to learn to understand the prospects of projects and the risks. No one will tell you exactly how much it will take to obtain these skills.

For me to want to be a professional with any career, they all take time and effort on what they want. And this is a market for investment, you will encounter many losses before you can understand the market and the blockchain

I think it depends on how much time you dedicate to studying and learning about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain. Its not about how big you build your portfolio but about how much information and knowledge you gather.
