Well I wouldn't say it's unpredictable because good traders are still making tons of money from the bear market.  This only affects the holders

This year even technical analysis from expert traders didn't help others to decide on their investment decision since the market had been moving not according to TAs. Well as for now the situation is different from something new that we didn't expected to happen. Ripple seems shitcoin in crypto and some does not want to include it as crypto, others called ripple as sleeping giant. Now it is the #2 and ethereum is in #3 market position. Not really. The stable market actually is more riskier to invest on. The more volatile the price is, the higher profit you can be making. The more the price fluctuates, the better the chance of predicting the market accurately. During price stability, there are chances that the price may go down any moment without any notice (the same which is happening right now). It is also true for the opposite. After a certain stage of stability, people starts to be in doubt and eventually backs out from his investment due to fear of losing everything.

Yes. Risk is inevitable. Don't join crypto if you are not willing to take it. I always tell my friends that they need to make a firm decision everytime they trade. Doing things without a backup plan will shatter your capital. Just like what happened to thousands of people, their portfolio dropped and they were forced to sell just to minimize the damage and move away from crypto.

It is true because the research itself will be more convincing still if basic or deepening used to research is also true. Now maybe many are just guessing and follow others in selecting coins. and finally when their options incorrectly will blame crypto.

I still see the uncertainty of the crypto currency as a reasonable case. When the crypto value drops, like now, it is a bitter time and it must be passed.
I am optimistic that crypto will return to its peak of glory. Whether it's for a long time, it can take months to come or two to three years. Now we are patient and still looking for potential coins for investment, also continue to undergo bounty hunting activities to mememtik many fruits when the bullrun comes.

Yes crypto is unpredictable.. do not listen to those irrelevant predictions... no one knows when the bull will return ...

Of course it very hard to predict the future of crypto, after the bull run in january 2018 we never expect in the end of december we will face the bear market and make all coins drop more than 5 times. Maybe in january 2019 market will rise more than 500B again, "Who knows?".

I believe searching for new ideas is more like been smart and wise when taking risk. investors need to make a calculated risk based on the quality of product a project has to offer.
A bounty hunter has to do more than just promote project, but research and find out the perfect projects from the fakes we have around.

That is just the best word for the whole thing! Calculated risk!! Sure, investing in the market is a huge risk, so having a knowledge of that means you should be learned enough to know how to treat your investment. The market is new and pretty unpredictable and as long as you do not know what it takes to play safe in the market, you may always be on the wrong side of investment and profit every single time. For now, what is important is to always know when to buy which is now, what to buy and why you should be getting in now. However, like you said, it takes being smart to be able to handle all of that.
