it depends  on the position from what look to see the situation. for one people it is the danger and for others the cryptocurrency is a real perspective and wide range of opportunities. so for the traditional banking system it is a danger if they don't rebuilt they systems according the demands of the developing society. and the society needs new changes and new systems that will work rapidly and safe and more secured like blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Well there is nothing without risks, even cash has it limitation that was the reason cashless transactions, and bet cashless has it own limitations though better than cash... So also crypto... It comes with a lot of risks. Risk is normal for any asset,  both digital and physical

if it completely replaces the economy it seems impossible, if I am not dangerous if the country quickly and decisively takes regulations, tight rules, it may be taxed for crypto seekers
