Will Ethereum fail if Vitalik dies?

well. i dont think so. ethereum is a very strong project with a good infrastructure. i dont think it is going to fail in this case. but of course if vitalik dies, ethereum price falls because so many investors panic and try to dump the price.

Ethereum is just like a house, after the building process is completed, even though all the builders left it. The house will still stand strong covering everyone inside the house. So there is unlikely that ETH will be failing even if Vitalik or someone else leaving it.

Nah, that's the good thing about decentralization that crypto is giving us. Even if the creator is gone, it will still thrive due to the community supporting it.
Bitcoin is the best example, Satoshi is no longer visible and yet his creation is still the leading cryptocurrency.

Etherium is not only Vitalik, but also the team of specialists behind the project. The infrastructure is already established, there is a growing number of projects based on Etherium network - this is going to stay regardress of Vitalik`s death.

On the other hard, as a currency ETH will certainly dip, just as Apple`s shares after Job`s death.

Really I think it will just cause panic for a short while but subsequently, somebody else will take The mantle and move the project on wards. There will be a little blip surely especially with the rise of competing platforms but it will survive. Ps, I hope vitalik stays around for a long long time. He is one the the strongest players on the crypto space.

I think it has a slight effect on the price but later on, it will recover I guess. I do believe on that project Ethereum it has a good potential and it is developed project so there is no reason it will crash out in the market. In my own not only Vitalik who has managing on that project probably there is a group working on that project. But who knows what will happen we still hoping that as of now everything will be fine as long as Vitalik was there.

of course not, decentralization will not affected if the key figure die, look at ltc and lee, ltc still alive even after lee sold all their ltc, community will driven the future development of eth, i believe it

This is one of the point of EOS founder when he said about letting the community run the project on its own. Dan Larimer leave Bitshares and it continues to live to its glory and same thing with Steemit. Just like Satoshi leaves bitcoin and it continues to grow. If ETH founder Buterin will die soon, will the project also live on?  Its going to also be solved once and for all before that happens. He must put things to rest if it goes POS decide when it will or just let the miners mine forget about the POS. If they leave us hanging while there is a platform good enough to promise without transaction fee such as EOS, the people will go there instead.

I don't assume thus, a bit like bitcoin once Satoshi Nakamoto nonexistent in void bitcoin still survived and even pump. Ethereum can live once Vilatik dies as a result of they're a team that developed that platform and it's not an honest move to possess solely one one who is aware of that platform.

Maybe the price of ethereum will only fall a little like 10% or 20% down if the founder vitalik will die but not fall like the price reach to zero because many erc20 projects will not allowed it to happen because if they do their projects also crash.

There are many examples in history when the founders died, or stopped working in their companies, but companies continued to work and make a profit. So it will be with ethereum, it is a finished work product that followers of Buterin can develop.

Great question! After all its like asking whether the kingdom will survive after the death of king or not. Well after the kings death the kingdom will be handed over to someone else who has the higher authorities in their hands. If somehow the next person is strong enough in making the project assurances then I guess ETH would be really fine all the time. However, if that person failed to manage and show people the proof of work then it could be disturber in the ETH platform and people may switch to number of platforms available out there. Yes, Vitalik does hold very much important authority in managing the stuff around it and that smart kiddo keeps the market alive all the time. So many things can change if goes away. But lets not hope so soon.

If ethereum fails than it is the same thing like if Steve Jobs dies also the Apple company would fail or would bankrupted which is not true and we have seen in the past years.
So if Vitalik dies there is nothing to worry about because he has left a whole huge team behind who will run his bussiness and ethereum would continue its journey.

I don't think it will affect that much, a short price drop maybe, but total failure is not gonna happen, Ethereum is used by many company right now, so the dead of the founder will not have a huge significant effect on it.
