Imo, you don't need to see how it functions to be using it successfully. How many of almost 5 billion people using the Internet understand how it works? And what about 6 billion using electricity? It's good for you to know this stuff, no doubt about it, same as it's good for a blockchain developer to know how to cook Tom Yum soup, but let's not blame people for not knowing things out of their field of expertise.

In my opinion blockchain is not an easy thing to understand, it takes a lot of knowledge so that we can fully understand blockchain, even many of us here are still having difficulty understanding how blockchain actually works regularly on the internet by utilizing computing to create groups or blocks that are connected to each other.
I personally might think blockchain is a complicated thing and still requires a lot of knowledge to figure it out.

But with that percentage, there are a lot of people that use it without even knowing how it works.

Just like those people who have invest in cryptocurrencies, they don't know what blockchain is but they're part of the economy where people are using the tech.

Trading can be much more beneficial rather than just holding it for a year, I mean, there's certainly nothing wrong with hodling it as it is the most basic and proven way to make profits but if you want more than just hodling it and wait then trading can be way more interesting and beneficial if you have some extra time to spare like weekly but aside from that, it really requires capital and ofcourse knowledge about it.
And just like holding, only trade funds what you can afford to lose as it's the right way to avoid being too drowned.

It's just a bunch of independent computers,who verify transactions by solving complex math tasks.
For that work (solving complex math tasks),they get rewarded with bitcoins.This is also known as bitcoin mining.I guess that this is the most simple explanation of all times.

After I read some of the comments from top to bottom, I think this is the simplest answer that ordinary people will be able to understand easily.
Very easy to digest for beginners and I don't think their interpretation will go wrong if they develop their own questions later.

Focus on any project that has a real use case.  NOT a good price.  NOT a good marketing campaign.  NOT a meme.  REAL UTILITY.  There is somewhere around 5,000 cryptos and endless whitepapers claiming all kinds of solutions.  However, 90% of them are just pump and dumps into fiat.  Its almost sickening given that we are almost a decade into this technology.

That's right. Trading is not something where you can completely rely on your skill and your success was guaranteed with that. There is too much uncertainty involved for anyone to be a real expert in this field. That's why learning the basics of money management is way more important than researching about "how to trade successfully".
