User MiChaeng has received 90 merits from September 12 to September 17. I have checked all his merited posts and those are in altcoin discussions. He has received 90 merits from 5 different people from which 3 guys have already been red-tagged because of cheating in bounty with alt. Also, 4 of them only sent merits to MiChaeng.

Here is the merit history for user MiChaeng. received merits from 5 different people.

User ChainSmokers sent 23 merits within 5 days to MiChaeng. He never sent merit anyone else.

User Masyudhi sent 14 merits within 4 days. He never sent merit anyone else.

User andibongkol sent 28 merits within 5 days. He never sent merit anyone else.

User tyoA7X sent 20 merits. this user sent total 32 merits between 3 users, from which 20 merits for MiChaeng.

User Icologies sent 5 merits. He never sent merit anyone else.

So, I think it's a clear merit abuse and DT should take steps.

Here is the list of users connected in this abuse.
1. ChainSmokers
2. Masyudhi--- Already Got tagged cheating in bounty.
3. andibongkol--- Already Got tagged cheating in bounty.
4. tyoA7X--- Already Got tagged cheating in bounty.
5. Icologies

Even though it's very likely that MiChaeng bought Merit, there's no conclusive evidence. If accounts get tagged for receiving Merit, it can be abused to target innocent accounts too. See for example this thread for a successful appeal against red trust for receiving Merit.

Thank you for letting me know about this. This can really be an easy way to target innocent people specially at higher ranked.
