Yes, I totally agree because most of ICO use Ethereum platform . we know Ethereum has really helped ICOs become successful with their project. I strongly believe Ethereum holds a special place among cryptocurrencies. So Right now ethereum is still the king of ico.

I agree with your assessment but I will like to add that ethereum is both the best and worst ICO blockchains for 2 reasons.
The first is it is the most commonly used and easy to use and also store so investors rarely have a problem.
The other reason why it is the worst is because of how easy it is to design platform on it, many scam projects use ethereum to devwlop their platforms which is bad for ETH.

For hosting of ICO projects in the Ethereum can be regarded as the king of ICO, with the smart contract capabilities has really helped startups to kick up their business, however EOS blockchain is moving to take over from Ethereum with its smart contracts potentials and high scalability.

I do not see a strong opponent for the ether now & in the near future. The EOS blockchain, the closest competitor, as many believe, has a lot of flaws and vulnerabilities. Besides, it is almost centralized.

I wished it wasn't about ico's at all right now. Who cares if eth is ico king? ICO's are simply a way to raise money and most if not all platforms are capable of offering ico's on them. Smart contracts may have been initialized by ethereum, but this doesn't mean they will stay ahead forever.

Right, ethereum deserves to be called king of ICO, we can see that the biggest use of ethereum is for ICO, and this is reasonable because most ICOs are based on ERC-20.

I agree with this accessment, if not for the invention of Smart contracts and tokens within the Ethereum Blockchain, we would not see atleast  95% of the ICOs we have seen so far this year because all the ICOs would need to develop their own blockchains which is quite expensive and time consuming.

Well no doubt it is, I wonder what would cryptocurrency be without ethereum smart contract, it has become so easy for companies and groups to set up a token and crowdfund their project, cryptocurrency has never been the same since Ethereum become a popular token creation platform.

Vitalik Buterin and other Ethereum developers introduced new concept of ICOs - Reversal ICOs - RICOs.
It will be nice to see that ICO investors now will be more safe and they will be able to get their investment back anytime.
