It all depends on the situation we face. For me, we have to manage the strategy as well as possible.
The Daily Trade and long time trade must have their weaknesses and strengths.
All decisions depend on us, we will determine what we will do and what we do will certainly produce different things.

Agree , it depends on the person if what is his goals in life .  if a person is lucky go lucky or willing to take all risk then he probably go for shorg term . while a person that has a big dream in life will always aim for a long term process .

Me myself is not a trader or an investor but i have a big plans for my future however i didnt ever tried to hold up my coins for a longer time due to the fact that i always need money for important spendings . so  my situation is slightly different from the one that is mentioned above .

Investing and trading are two different things. Short term trading is specially risky if trader doesnt know what he/she is doing. Investing is like playing "house of cards" but trading is name of speculation Wink

Mate, first of all, you should try to achieve some good knowledge of trading then you can start your trading business with long-term trading because as a newbie short-term trading will be hard to make profits for you. So I recommend you for doing long-term trading.

The best option is to learn the theory and then master your skills in demo versions before starting trading. In my opinion, it’s better to start with a long trade (as it’s less risky) and after getting acquainted with the crypto market, try day trading. You should also find a reliable trading platform because there are a lot of scams. I would suggest you CEX which is perfect for beginners due to the intuitive interface. It supports fiat/crypto trading (https://cex.io/btc-eur) in addition to crypto/crypto pairs which is convenient for newcomers.

These are two different strategies and each one might have its adopters. On the market situation like we have these days, long trading looks dangerous. Cryptocurrency day trading can allow you to earn even on the falling market. Everyone would love to trade long and save nerves, but today you need to follow the situation.

I think the danger is short trading. You are always attached to small ranges and noises within these ranges. One big whale can lead to your loss fixation, or you will be left with floating losses for a long time.

In my opinion daily trading is very risky to be able to lose our money because of course the market in 24 hours is very volatile and difficult to guess. I can usually benefit in 2-5 days according to my target
Not only day trading is very risky it is very time consuming, only those that trade for a living can day trade everyone else will be unable to do it because you have a job and responsibilities that you cannot avoid so it is way better to make longer trades that may not give you as many profits but that are way easier to monitor because you only need to check your trades once in a while.

At first, you should start with long-term trading, as the day passes and you gain experience then you can do day trading easily without any problem. So, now you should concentrate on gaining knowledge.

I will suggest you to trade for long term. It is much safe and risk free. On the other hand, day trading is not a easy it requires lot of experience is needed on day trading. It is much risky
Yes you’re very right. Long term is the best for those who have no experience. He should get started with long term trading and by the time he gets a lot better with that, he can then consider doing short term trading sometimes. Within a short time he will just become an expert in it. Long term is the best to start with.

Long-term is always good for the people who don't have good experience towards trading, due to huge fluctuation it is impossible to make profits through short-term trading. So it is always good to hold the coin as long as possible until you make your desired profit.

Pros and cons are always associated with these sorts of types. Which one suit you are the best and winner between these two competitors. Well I like long term trading because it is kind a fun.

Exactly before thinking of whether long term is suitable or short term, better to have a strong look over what you are up to with knowledge. Learn first, grip more concepts and then jump to next step.

Both short term and long term can make you a profitable trader but there are a lot of things to consider, the most important is the amount of capital and the time you are willing to spend. Everything can be positively done through a proper timing but since the market is getting more unpredictable, the more we should be smarter in order to meet our goal.

as a beginner you must always learn about the science of trade. I prefer to do daily trading rather than long-term trading. when you trade daily, you will continue to monitor market developments. and if you continue to do it, then I'm sure you will understand speculation and market analysis. because you will have a lot of experience, and experience is very much needed in trading. so I think you have to trade daily and keep learning about trading.

I think it really depend on how confident you feel with trading. I don’t have much experience with trading either, I prefer to buy coins for long term invest and I like to gain more knowledge before day trading first, day trading can lose all your money very fast. In the end of the day it is your personal choice and how confident you feel with trading.

the market is always unpredictable not just today or these days but ever since the beginning of cryptos  and like have you said , we need to be more smarter when deciding when to sell of buy . better to check the news and the latest threads about trading so that we can also get an idea if the price will fall or go high  .

in the meanwhile , trading short term and trading in a longer term are both profitable and  good to do rather than choosing only one path because you can possibly maximize your potential profit

Thanks in advance.

I've been trading for over a year now on the cryptocurrency market. I must say, it depends on your attitude. You need to get to know yourself first. Lots of youtube videos now available to the public. It depends on how you maximize your time to study. And I think it is also better to get a mentor. Im not an expert, as I say, im new to the market just like you, but I made bad decisions in the past which was a learning experience on my part to carry as a go along being a trader.

Focus on long term investing not daily trading!

I would suggest longer term investing and not daily trading.
If you want to daily trade than you should first learn TA...

From my experiences in market so volatile as crypto you will make less with daily trading than with long term investing... not to mention stress, and time consumed for daily trading.
If you are not very experienced and emotionally rock solid than markets will play you like you can't even imagine. You might still make profit, but at the end probably less than if you just invested in one of the top coins and wait for few years...

Right now I prefer to trade with the long term, if we trade in the short term, surely we will experience a loss of funds, it will be a waste of time, I will trade with the long term so that I can have many benefits

if now prices are down and there is still no potential to go up, so maybe we can start buying but not too much, we can monitor price movements from time to time, we can trade with a short time, because if too long our money can settle and the potential for profit in a long time is still unclear, so while it's just right to do short trading, it might be useful.

trading at the bear market at the moment I think will be quite a loss. for me, it's better to hold the tokens you have until the price stabilizes. well, but if seen, it has advantages, and disadvantages depend on the circumstances.
