Even on a bear market I still try to make money on trading. 1% to 2% on each trade is not bad at all. Just be patient and stick to your goal on hitting 1% to 2%. If you try to go over that there might be a chance that you loose more if suddenly the price dropped. Dont let greed take over you in trading, regardless if its bear or bull market.

If you want to earn in this kind of market then you should be looking at studying trading for short term. I have notice that some are already asking of courses wherein they can study trading. There are so many opportunities in the market because prices are fluctuating and if you want to take advantage of that opportunity then daily trading would be the fastest way to learn it.

Some are afraid of doing short term trading because they might lose and some did lose and get back to just holding their coins. Yes, it is part of the process of learning trading and you will only prosper if you would learn from your losses and device a strategy that would let you have minimum loss and maximize your profit.

In this situation no one can get income because they need to sell it, but about recovery asset ( buy back ) is always open this time. Swing trading method is realistic method in this situation to get income but we need to get the real data and fast, because if your transactions get delay you'll get nothing. I noticed that I just keep on losing money everytime I attempt to buy an altcoins that has dropped. It does not recover and hence drop a little more. I have decided that it is better to wait because it's not working on me and the last I made good profits was back in the first week of January.

I bought ADA and trx as I thought it's the bottom but it just keep on dumping. So instead that I do swing trading, it turned out to holding since I don't want to lose the chances. But honestly, even its already a bear market it is still, I don't know its still a nightmare for the long terms holders, because the market in the altcoins was in bad scheme situation so far, were we as a holders of coins had nothing to do with it but to wait on the bull run season. Our patience now actually, has been tested for so many months and yet nothings change but a little bit longer to wait.

So far no, I'm just holding some of my coins now because as I can see in the market altcoins was not in good situation in terms of its value. Most  of them was in declining period of their value, its hard to predict and to risk my coins which I am not sure if the coins will higher, especially I'm not quite good yet in doing day trade.

In this bear market, it is very difficult to make money because the prices are kept declining in the market which makes us lose more value. So it is good to stay away from the market when the situation is in downtrend.

It is only difficult if you really do not have the experience of trading a bear market or if you get greedy too much. Leave greed out when the market is bearish and be comfortable with some few percentage up based on some of the strategies you have if you really want to do well and this totally depends on the style of trading which unless you are doing margin trading as a long term investor, there is absolutely no way you can get anything from a bear market than to wait until it bottoms, but generally, for day traders and short term trader, with a good strategy, you can always take good advantage of the market little fluctuations and corrections to the upper side.

That's a good idea, but in total, downtrends at several coins last for more than half a year and marginal trading is a good opportunity for such situations.

That is usually the thing with a bear market, just look for some price actions, look at the shortest available resistance and even with as low as 1 or 2% with a very tight stop loss, you should always be able to get something substantial but this is something not everyone can do and can mostly be applicable to day traders or at least short term traders.

It is always better for you to at least tend to understand what you are doing first and make sure you are confident in yourself to trade a bear market as well as disciplined enough before even attempting it.

To be honest I almost lose everything because of this current situation it's been 6 months since the bear market started and yet til now no sign of good market. I don't know who make this market fall. I don't where to trust now even ICO can't give profit mostly the ended scam ico. Maybe it's time to joined those self drop ico. lol. Most of my friends got profit from it.

Yes, I make money when the market is bear, but not too much. I made a little money on October/15/2018 when my Stellar and Litecoin rise 10% from the initial price, maybe it is just my luck when the market is bearish as it is now..

Leverage trading on BTC/USD is great way to make money even on bearish market. If right - short - position was opened before price fell down - then you'll earn money.
But it is too dangerous to begin trading without special knowledge and skills.

A true trader can earn in any market.  if you truly know how to get away with the bear market with short selling or take advantage of the bull run you are certainly one of those that can be called true trader. Maybe if you're a long trader, you can study the market and can spot the bottom.

Making money in a bear market requires a different trade approach, it is only the skillful can make profit in a bear market, personally I want for a certain deep level and support level after observing a trend for a particular period of time, buy at that level and ensure to have a take loss target, if eventually market goes in the up direction and enters a profit target, I quickly sell.

Yeah, once I have taken 50% profit in this bear market position, I got some cyberFM token in bounty reward and I sell them today quick and then I bought same token and till now I have 21$ rest of the selling amount. its my first trading profit.

It is very tough now to make money! Sometimes I made a good profit but sometimes I lose. Actually, I was trading on Idex and in Idex making a profit is an easy matter and losing everything is also easy! So, I stopped trading there and yesterday I made some profit from the ARN token in Binance. So, You can still make money at this bear market, but You need to ready for the loss too!

The weakest part of any trading method is the trader executing it. There are many ways to make money in the market but they all require discipline and consistency to make any of them work long term.

The traders that manage risk exposure the best are generally the ones that win in the long term.

Good trader is the one who makes money in any market condition. There is always the opportunity arise.
