This is the same scenario I have seen being played out throughout the last seven or eight months to me nothing has actually changed. Bitcoin will rise for a few days then give back all of the gains in a few hours but it usually remains above $6,100 at all times.

I have noticed a downward trend in almost all the coins. I see this to be a normal finding since that is what is happening so far this year. Bad year indeed for cryptocurrency. I hope the state of crypto market leaves it behind this year as we kick start to enter into a new year. I think that can be the last dump before long sideways or bull period. Because if we will look to triangle that last dump can be expected. So we saw that also.
That is easy. When people start to thinking bullish they are dumped. That is whales job. Also on the other hand you know about bitmex. and they need to do that

This is because those who play the market like forex on the Bitmex and Bitfinex exchanges like to destroy any profits and gains and then altcoin markets crash further down. No coin is left un dumped and everyone who is holding anything just gets destroyed. Unfortunately trading with leverage and Bitcoin futures have destroyed any hope of a real bullish market trend and I believe that 2017 was just lucky for some people and if you are not shorting and not part of any pump and dump group, you are lost forever holding worthless and more useless bags. I agree that it will recover slowly but the way the coins are dropping is unbelievable. I was wondering it will pump in the last quarter but never expected it will go down. If this goes like this then investors will lose trust in cryptocurrency for sure. A bull run will give a boost to the investors let's see i hope it will recover in upcoming days.
