I would not advise you to buy Ripple. I think that Rippl reached the peak of his development. I think Ripple will continue to lose its popularity with time.

Instead of being told why Not to buy Ripple, could you justify Why you would buy Ripple?
do you know what's it used for or do you fall for the "marketing"?
I would definitely not buy any Ripple, for starters it's already valued very highly while the actual adoption process appears pretty doubtful.

if you want a safe investment you better go with just Bitcoin, if you want a high return investment (with high risk), look further down in the marketcap list and read about each project.
Ripple is also a banking coin and furthermore don't they have a huge part of the supply locked up that will be released progressively?

either way you should make your own decisions based on facts and not based on what other people tells you.
someone who has no clue about Ripple except having heard somewhere it's good might try to convince you to buy it, and the exact opposite for someone who's heard it's bad!
(clearly I'm not too aware of what it is but the general rules applies)

I made awesome X when XRP pumped from 0.25 to 0.95 , that was really good. I don't think that its good to invest in XRP now , just wait for dump and than u can try.

How can it be a dead token if it have like 18,000,000,000+ $ Marketcap . If you did some study on ripple and you really believe in them then thats your decision to buy it or not . Remember that there is so many banks involved in ripple and banks always win . I kinda believe that XRP will take over SWIFT payments in future , but does it will make XRP price rise because of that ?!? The problem with them is that they can flood market with more ripple than there is ..

At currently depressed price, every long term coins are a good investment oppurtunities.
What differentiates ripple with other alts is its dev teams. They are professional when it comes to profit.
 They hold a portion of the currency and the success of the currency is what pays them off.
So, they are determined to make ripple a success. And we all are here for profit.

OP was interesting to bet on the bank partnership with ripple. ripple consortium has a lot of customers and they are creating more and more cooperation with ripple. Just try to understand anybody that invest in the ripple bet on the development and the result of ripple blockchain adoption by the bankers.

I think it's worth looking at.  They have partnerships with a lot of banks and are continuously promoting xRapid, which could be a catalyst.  It certainly has utility for remittance.  I would recommend reading more about it, and check the whitepaper specifically. This one should move up when market sentiment shifts.

yes, Ripple is worth it as an investment and from where you can say that Ripple is a dead token, because if indeed Ripple is a dead token why are there still many people who are interested to investing in Ripple? This is proven from the Ripple volume (24h) is very high ($397,847,949), besides that Ripple is top 3 cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap and if indeed Ripple is a dead token, then why can Ripple have a high volume (24h) and become the top 3 cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap? so in my opinion you're wrong for saying that Ripple is a dead token.

Try research it by yourself too but i suggest you, you can try to choose the other coin than Ripple. We know that Ripple's Price is too cheap right now but the other altcoin's price is too cheap right now. You can choose the altcoin's who really have more good technology than Ripple. But its my only opinion. I suggest you to research a lot before invest and if you want to invest in ripple or the other coin just invest in some stage. dont put your money at the same time and in one coin only. G luck

Ripple is not cheap if we look at his price in the beginning of 2017. So it can become even cheaper than it is at the moment.
Also the word "development" is used not correctly. It may be advertising, maybe fomo, but not development. Of course something was done to upgrade it but not as much as in the field of advertisement was

Ripple does have a lot of partnerships with established banks but guys dont forget! These banks are not using the XRP token. They are using the infrastructure and services that Ripple offer but not their token.

Personally, I admitted that I like ripple because it is related to banks. However, now it is struggling to recover. You know this coin cannot be killed totally because it is popular, it is related with banks, enough community to manage and handle the project. Its up to you whether you will invest or not but you can try it and see what will happen.

Ripple idea was so good that's why it have so many supporter but the problem is it the price keep declining even though they have so many accomplishment update always. If you want fast profit then Ripple is not the one for you cause the coin progress so slow.
