I think most of the small players has a huge losses this year. Its really hard to compete with whales who have enough funds to manipulate the market and they are really smart and have the data compare to small players who don't have enough resources and only uses its guts. Hope that this is lesson learned for us.

so the price of the cryptocurrency is very volatile, if my experience is sure the price will rise higher when the coins we sell must feel lost after that, but you must pay attention to your selling feeling if it is profitable and enough then do not feel loss because of nobody want big profits to last a long time until it's really a lot of profit.

Yes, it is not worst because at least, bitcoin price still above on the $3000 and it's up and down in many times. Maybe it's a test for many people especially for new people who are new in the cryptocurrency, and they need to learn about patience. Once the price starts to rise, maybe it will reach as the price in the last year. So like above me said, we need to prepare ourselves from any situations even for the worst that might comes later.

Judging by the actions you described, it can be concluded that you didn't have a clear and reasonable plan.
Personally I, when I cannot understand what exactly is happening with the market, I don't trade until something changes. Only after the situation becomes clear for me, I form my action plan based on my assumptions.
For example, the price of my asset falls and I assume that the fall will continue. But I know that the fall is not continuous. The price falls, but not constantly, there is a time when it is slightly corrected and at that moment it is slightly (or significantly) rising. In this situation, I can act in several ways:
1. try to average the initial purchase price;
2. selling an asset in order to buy it back at a lower price (this action can be repeated many times when it falls and as a result I will have a profit. And this is an increased number of coins, the surplus of which I can leave or sell);
3. selling an asset in order to transfer money to a more promising asset that is more likely to bring me a profit.
In order to make this happen to you no longer occur, evaluate the market without emotions and make a plan of action.

So after the bearish market came
I've been holding more alts than BTC/ETH

Coins like COSS, NANO, CND and etc
I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%   

NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS

Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy

Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

Holy i been making huge losses in 2018 

It is very familiar situation of trading. Especially when the bear market in 2018 started, I very often fixed with minus and had a hope to get something from other coins, and lost very much.

You are not the one who made mistakes. I was too naive and unexperienced and after the bullmarket where i`ve done big profits i completely failed on the correction

It all depends on your strategy and the results of your analysis. I personally have experienced this incident that the coins we sell after a few weeks the price of tokens will rise higher. But this is the most interesting thing so far if we are patient and do not panic to sell coins, of course, we can sell coins at the right time.

Whole year was the worst of my history. I have had some great ammount of loses. The Bitcoin Private (BTCPP), i bought it from $44 on 20th of April, expect to see $250, but if you look at its price right now its $1.82.  Hopefully i have sold it from $9. Also i had great lost with doc.com Token (MTC), bought from $0.25 and sold $0.03.. I believe that many of altcoins did lost like 1/8.. I think we won't have bad years again like 2018..

In 2018 whole year was not worst i think. Last year december to march market was huge pumping than gradually going to fall down. You holding more than 6 months this is not a trading it's called holder. Whatever i just lost 2000$+ in NPXS when i sold price was 0.001$ after 2 days it's pumping 0.01$. This kinda a lot of regret in this year.

Yes if it is bad time so you should have patience and hold your coin. 2018 was not that bad too but a few traders complained they did not get better out of it. So now i am hopping for the good I am holding to trade later in 2019 i am sure till then market will recover and situation will be better than this. now is the time to store some more coins.

I personally now myself watch how many "profitable traders" close their channels and cease to conduct at least some activity. All professionals, when the market is growing, and as soon as they meet with a falling market...
