Worst year of trading for me damn

So after the bearish market came
I've been holding more alts than BTC/ETH

Coins like COSS, NANO, CND and etc
I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%   

NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS

Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy

Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

Holy i been making huge losses in 2018

2018 is whale year.
Less real investors makes whale can manipulated market with a big volume.
So this year trading is so suck

You need to be more patient  I don't know why you decided to sell NANO at too low price, because you had holded them for almost 6 months, why you didn't wait longer. In these case you become a long term holder, you should only sell when you get profits, at higher price than 0.011 ETH.

I guess 90% or even more of the traders are trading like you - and me as well  .

Try to put some fund in a stable coin - 10-20% - like USDT, TUSD, USDC, etc.
Having a stable crypto that doesn't fluctuate much vs the USD is a life saver for my portfolio.
Plus, I can move and buy coins/token when they dip hard.

It happened to me also from some of the coins that I have. I panicked and sold my tokens thinking it is going down hard. Only to realize that the values rise up again after I sold. So to avoid further losses I just made a high sell and buy order and left my coins in exchanges. Just visit it from time to time and see if the values have been reached.

Yes I have also be like you when i sell it will go up within 1 week but now I learned patience  is the important in cryptocurrency so now I am be holding as it like.

Everybody has those times.  Reflect on your actions and the results, and learn from it.  Every mistake is an opportunity to learn.  Remember, one key thing that separates the highly successful from the flock is that they never give up, they just learn from their failures.  It's really not sufficiently stressed.

I guess you are wrong, mate this is the wonderful opportunity to buy and hold. I completely understand how frustrating this will be for you but in trading ups and down are part of a game, kindly wait for few more weeks to make a good return.

Trading can be so difficult in this year, market generally are bearish, a lot of wrong are made on daily basis, you sell and market jump, that is why holding is better this time around had it been your are hodler i don't think you would have made such error.

Exactly especially last 5 months is like a hell. Everyday we watched our portfolio. And everyday we lost too much money .So yes 2018 also the worst year for me. But i believe everything will be good in the future. Because of that i am trying to think another things. I know bulls will come back. and that time we will be really happy.

You should have cut loss if you are into trading. In bear market you can trade on short term ups and downs. Bear market too is good for short term trading. You basically just kept on holding your tokens. I think the coins you mentioned are pretty decent and will break out once we enter the bull phase.

It's better to lose right now unlike later, because you will learn from your mistake, you can just regain your profits later if you make good decisions, one of the reason why people like to hodl they just wait for the right time to sell off their coins so they wont lose lose more profit, all it require is just patience.

2018 is the year of sales, you can buy top-end assets at very good prices, and then sell them in 2019 or buy more)), the main thing for me is not to fix the loss.
