Do we need blockchain technology?

Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

If we do not need bitcoin, then what do you think bitcoin should run on? PayPal has a high transaction fee, as well as the others. Blockchain technology is fast and easy to use. I cannot imagine using other technology other than blockchain to run bitcoin with. Can you?

new projects and ICOs continue to emerge and their quality has not been tested and proven to be a lot of scam. I also think that too many projects and ICO will confuse us better at maximizing existing blockchain and crypto with service, market expansion, partners and much more that can be done

actually blockchain technology is the best now
but many crypto projects use ico as a fraud and their project is not useful at all,
therefore many people consider blockchain to be useless for real life.
but we need to know so far we have a transaction history in the bank or credit card, but to find out the entry and exit of the transaction we cannot know for others,
on the blockchain all transaction results have history data,
so we can find out the history of data from people who have evil intentions for example,
corruption, money laundering, or illegal transactions,
so blockchain can be adopted for all transactions including public or private services and government.

We all know there are many projects which are useless but there are some which
have viable projects. Blockchain technology will be used in the future and there
are big brand tech companies developing projects on Blockchains.

The question is how the sectors is reacting to this technology? For obvious reasons, it has already reshape the society, from banking system to online voting, so it really has a place in our society.

As for shitcoins popping around, well they can take advantage of blockchain, but its really up to us if we wanted to join they shitting all over or just move on and look for coins that has real usage.

in my opinion we need blockchain technology because blockchain can be used to electronic medical records and blockchain is technology in our future

which is a problem not the blockchain technology. but how can a project or company use blockchain technology properly. if you ask do we need blockchain technology? yes. because blockchain technology is very useful and useful if we use it correctly.

O can't agree that we don't need blockchain. Currently it's the best technology that could be used in many other industries and businesses not only cryptocurrencies. That is why many resesrches and tests are done in order to see where and how could be best implemented. Financial industry is just one example for that. Of course there is also room for further development and improvements in blockchain so in the future I expect this to become daily as usual technology.

Yes, despite that some icos have made mess of blockchain by scamming people but a future benefit is what is important because some project too have proved it like etheruem.

In my opinion, I admit that we don't necessarily need blockchain technology since using fiat works great even the times before crypoto was invented. But since it's already there then I don't see anything wrong of appreciating it. It's a cool scientific breakthrough after all so let's cheers. Stop doubting and just feel the benefits of it. I hope you'll soon realize the real answer for your own question .

How about insurance and blockchain (Isurepal), notary and blockchain (Factcom) and others? As you will noticed, they've got a nice platform which could be useful in their own ways.

Now its use is not in real life. But in the future, no other currency will be used in the market except crypto. One of the true evidence is that we have seen the crypto market in the last ten years, we understand.

The idea of blockchain technology is the most productive of all that was invented in the last 10 years. It simplifies most processes, intermediaries, corruption and speculation, makes all transactions between people transparent and accessible. But there are always those people who want to get a quick profit, get rich on speculation, deception. although many projects do not use the blockchain system, but I think we need and need this blockchain system, because with this blockchain we can check what is already in the transaction and with this blockchain system we can find something new in cryptocurrency currency technology and this bitcoin.

No, no... Blockchain technologies has a lot of pros, btw I can't understand what it has to do with social networks but I know other projects where it's need is bright. For example let's take land registry, some countries implemented it because it adds an extra layer of protection to data and in such cases, we really need good security. Also walmart tries to implement blockchain technologied as far as I know. One user here had idea of implementing gold and blockchain, where golds' data would be written, where it is, where it went and etc.

Blockchain tech is awesome some good coins implemented it for real use which many users are also happy by using blockchain tech and to secure data
but many of the coins are simply playing with technology
