The block rewards on https://www.blockexperts.com/hemp look a bit strange for PoS. They seem really high. Why are they all around the same size? Either 32 or 220 THC reward for finding a PoS block. Is that the way it's supposed to be?

PoS uses a completely different reward system from PoW
PoS reward amount depends on the input used to stake. all PoW inputs will be around 31.5
the 220 was probably someone buying coins and pulled them off an exchange generating a larger input.

Hey guys, just checking in (ive been away for a few days due to holidays). Has everything been working for everyone? any problems/bugs or questions?

debug.log has a very big size (in GB) after about a week and increases more and more

simply closing and reopening the wallet once a week will fix that problem. there is also probably a command line argument u can pass into program start that will stop that debug file from growing but idk what it is off the top of my head

It works to get hempcoind! There's now a compiled docker image of the Dockerfile above at https://hub.docker.com/r/hempcoin/hempcoind/
You can use that to install hempcoind on a very low cost rental server. You can be staking your THC pretty easily and hassle free if you know docker.

There's a lot more that can be included in the Dockerfile to make it even easier to set up. PM me if you want to help out with the Dockerfile creation.

Hmmm...  Just now I am trying to withdraw THC from Bittrex, and get a warning of "The last block update occurred 71 minutes ago."  Figured I better wait...

The delist warning is up again also, but volume is good for today.

may someone clarify to me the staking process for this coin???

I understand this takes 45 days to the coins to mature (which is for ever ;-) )
and then we are just staking for 45 days.... and WHAT THEN ?

we are waiting for 45 days to only be able to stack at 5% for 45 days, all that for that little ?

I hope I miss a point on long term staking with THC.

I use to stake other coins and there are not such limitations.

I hate it must wait 45 days. Why can't it do it everyday or whatever. The minting I dont like so much. I have some choof coin and it is 45 days too and it never staked st what it should have so that is a problem. With other wallets that do mining without minting you dont wait long is if something is wrong it is better then 45 day wait to see if its working again.

  if you want to stake more often, it's fairly simple, and it will help support and secure the network ...

if you want to stake once a week, divide your amt of coins by 7, and send once every week for ~6-1/2 weeks that amount to yourself using coin control. after that is done as the chunks mature they will stake more or less once a week.
 if you are asking why hempcoin doesn't stake @ 150% or wateva, well inflation can be a tough bedmate  

  personally, i have many PoS wallets on (2) computers, and i'm very glad the THC wallet only has to come out for fresh air once every 6-7 weeks,

THC makes it through another bittrex delisting! THC must hold the record for most delisting warnings without being delisted.
