If you want just a fair and a stable profit after a long-term investment, bitcoin is a good choice. Bitcoin is the most recognize and covers the biggest cryptocurrency market. With these, bitcoin investment is the safest but not necessarily will give the biggest profit. Though most likely less risk than altcoins.

Yes, Bitcoin was known in different countries there are some advantages and disadvantages in using this coin one of its advantage is using it as an investment however investing to cryptocurrency doesn't mean you're going to earn even if the market is stable there are times that the market becomes unstable at some point.
It's up to you whether you take the risk to earn.

Try reading this without stopping.  (Where did these people go to school?) First of all, the US did legalize Bitcoin as a commodity, so you are wrong on that. (They did not define it as a currency, yet) Bitcoin is definitely a long-term investment, because price history has shown that the highest return on your investment, come after hoarding for a few years.  |

If you are planning to hold for 1 or more years then I would definitely suggest you to invest in bitcoin and hold them safely in either trezor or ledger nano s. If you just want to make profit and get out then do it on your own risk.

For sure its a longtime investment but not investor understand that its a long time investment,thats why so investor sell of fear and panic when the price is in a very big dip,but when the price is in a very big dip is the right time to buy not to sell.

Bitcoin future still unknown since there are many rejection from some countries, but Bitcoin got a huge potential to be big, it is one of the fastest growing asset in the world, and there are still so many room for Bitcoin to grow , so I agree in long term we will see Bitcoin keep growing and the price keep on rising

not really. so far only bitcoin has had real long term potential. and the altcoins have only had pumping potentials which means a temporary big rise which is always followed by a big dump down. sometimes bitcoin price rise makes their USD value go up which people sometimes confuse with actual growth of that coin but in fact the coins are dropping against bitcoin which is what matters the most. |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

But you should invest in big ammount of money, otherwise it would be worthless. The bitcoin price act likes a currency like euros or paunds. The price is not changes in last 7 months. Stucked between $6300-$6600 lines. So if you have big money invest and wait. But if not you should go to altcoin market..

investing A LOT of money in bitcoin is a stupid move unless you are a trillionaire who doesn't care about that much money! you should always invest what you can afford to lose and not think about making more profit and taking unreasonable risks. at this point when bitcoin is at a stable price and has not that much room left for drops, is the best time to invest but bitcoin is still a risky investment. |

I think bitcoin is moving on steadily to be the future of all financial transaction globally. China last week legalized cryptocurrency for all forms of transactions. I am expecting more countries to join China in the same way. This will automatically make bitcoin and the other altcoin to be more relevant in transactions. I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind that bitcoin will prevail and will be the financial future of all transactions globally.

We already celebrate 10th year of Bitcoin's existence, but at the same time we have to consider things which have impacted on circulation and use of BTC globally. My honest conclusion is, till today none of application or project which can really useful for normal person is launched. There are only third party apps and services which offer user blockchain services as storing and transact BTC electronically, by charging fees. Basically blockchain is open source platform which gives more transparency, mobility and security for user. But current circumstances taking users interest down from BTC, so kindly invest wisely.
