Well I have tried the two options you have just stated but my best bet would be go for the two.

I prefer to choose investment in cryptocurrency, because I think now is a good way you can enter your money to get the current price, because now the market price is still not too expensive.

Cryptocurrencies seem more appealing to me than a business, I say this because a business requires to follow all kind of regulations while in bitcoin the only thing you need to do to be profitable is to buy your coins at the right time and wait while a business requires a lot more effort and I am not willing to put so much effort to something that I do not know if it is going to work or not while I am 100% sure that bitcoin will become successful in the future.

For businesses that do require a lot of effort, you are also required to have more knowledge about the business you are going to run, and of course large capital, extensive networks, and great marketing strategies. but in my opinion the benefits will be more greater if you want to do business. the middle way is to divide your capital into these two things

Though it's not late for him to focus with crypto but as a recent graduate he has enough time to improve and get on the field that he has ever want to. I would recommend opening own business because it's more stable than crypto currency and you have the full control of the business without risking the decision on how you would run the business. On crypto currency side, it's has volatility that cannot be controlled by you, only market decides all of it and it's for long-term investment that you can see your profit from it.

This is important many businesses require a huge amount of capital just to get started but when it come to cryptocurrencies you can invest a small amount of money and you can still be very effective as long as you have the knowledge and the skill to select great projects that give you profits, so if have to choose between a business and investing in cryptocurrencies, then to me the best option is to invest in cryptocurrencies since the capital needed is so low.
