Do you always invest in top ranked coins?

I prefer to invest only in the cryptocurrencies that have a good potential to rise in the future, and they are some coins from the top ranked ones, like Ethereum, BNB, and LTC, in addition with Bitcoin of course. I don't like to spend a lot of money on the shitcoins because they are going to collapse sooner or later. Also, the actual market condition isn't really encouraging to take big risks in the new coins.

Unstable market conditions will automatically encourage professional investors to invest in some high-end coins, and make a portfolio as a list of their assets, This is done to minimize losses that may occur. The steps you take are very precise, it's better to invest safely in some high-end coins, rather than betting on shitcoin which is not necessarily good potential in the future.

This is very simple and effective strategy for the newcomers in the market of crypto currencies. Always invest into those projects that have great history and are supported by maximum investors. Not really, but the investment options in altcoin which are at the bottom are very risky. why I say that because so many altcoin now in less than 1 year even their trading volume has decreased greatly. there is no "BUY ORDER" Even the worst is there is no update after their sale. things like this are certainly not possible for us to choose as an investment

It's not bad though if we invest like 10 percent of our assets into bottom market coins because sometimes the whales are playing with them, make them pump and fill the market volume and make the coins signal on people. But we have to ready to exit because sometimes it will down to bottom again

Yes it is. Buying a top ranked cheap coins is much better sincr you can get a lot of profit once it skyrocketed its value and trading coins is really good for market to increase then volume and avoiding getting delisted from exchange.

But as of today i bought a coin that is not from top rank since i like their technology on how to make the internet fast using IPV6 connection.

choosing the top 10 coins is a common thing to do now. since the price of crypto is quite large, top coins have become a safe choice to store. I myself only hold the top 2 coins, and have more ethereum than bitcoin because I believe in the potential of Ethereum. however, unpopular coins may only be used as an alternative to raising capital by utilizing their fluctuations. this happened to the new altcoin. but in general, people only invest in popular coins.

In investing now, I prefer several altcoins that do have a higher ranking than new altcoins and altcoin ico / ieo, altcoins that have a ranking in the top 10 in my opinion are more guaranteed to provide benefits because the altcoin transaction volume is very large, and also has a period clear future  in my opinion, now most of the new altcoins or coin ico / ieo do not have a clear future in development so that it causes many altcoins of ico / ieo to experience price drops quite drastic, and it is difficult to experience price increases again and of course this can make we suffer losses.

Yes, I'm always trusting top altcoins because they're well established and they have a great potential just like Btc and Eth. There's a better assurance that we could gain a good profit through it in time compared to new altcoins. Most investors now are only focusing on top coins because of their experiences in investment losses with other altcoins. large volume, good fundamentals and certainly safer. Because top ranked coins are very unlikely to scam. Especially with conditions

There are only like two coins I've invested in that weren't in the top 25 on coinmarketap.  The rest I haven't put much money into, since I see them as would be lottery tickets.  Most of my crypto money is in dash, neo, and eth and of course bitcoin.  Coins that have very small market caps and low trading volumes are destined for their deathbeds, and that's a fact.

I don't agree with that at all.  There is good reason why those coins are low ranked, ie, that there is likely nobody mining them, nobody trading them, and nobody wanting to own them.  If you buy shit coins you're going to end up with a bunch of coins you'll never be able to sell because there won't be any buyers.

As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

I have invested in all sorts of coins. And with my experience, I can say that investing in top ranked coins are safer. Crypto market has been dynamic and holding top ranked popular coins would yield you profit some day. They won't  generally decrease from their current price to worthlessness as most of other new coins go through.
It's harder for whales to move the overall price and there are no artificial pumps and dumps.

i balanced mine ,i invest in top ranked currency like Bitcoin and Ethereum but i also vested some of my funds to lower ranking coins and tokens as well
though i believe the safeties of my money in high ranking currency yet i also believe that low ranked will bring me more fortune if luck also comes with me.

there are people who risk in pump and dump because they have a knowledge and skills to analyze which of them will go high and fall at the same time.but for me this is not advisable  because if you were trapped for sure your money will either stays long or gone forever
