I wonder if you HODL because you believe the price will go up? Or are you lost too much already so you don't see any reason to sell because you won't be satisfied with the money you will cash out? I have this self-conflict for a few months already

both of your questions are very true, in general everyone is experiencing your two questions I am sure with that, I personally hold my assets because I still hope there will be a surge in prices that will occur now is not the time to sell or buy, it's better to stay for a moment

In most cases, it depends on the risk/reward ratio. Being a bagholder is no good, but it's always better to hold for some time, even month or 1-2 years, then sell, if the loss is too much. I don't see any argument in selling at 80-99% loss. In such cases, it's better to forget about your coins and give them a chance (or put reasonable orders on exchanges).

I used to gamble around $30-$50k a year in Las Vegas and lost more than I won. Now I gamble on bitcoin and lose far less. Only hold if you’re not gambling with the last dollar in your pocket. Every time you buy bitcoin you need to think to yourself, “would I put this money on red on a roulette table knowing there’s at least a 50% chance I’ll lose it?” If the answer is no don’t buy bitcoin.

I lost a lot of money in the red market. Now the market is very dangerous, but I think that there will be a short-term growth of all coins. Then there will be volatility until mid-December and then the rapid growth will begin

Personally i HODL because i believe so much on cryptocurrency and not the loses i incur already. The crypto-market price dropped horribly which has negative impact on it holders but not withstanding those who can read beyond the chart will understand that after this deep market the bull run will be set. The whales that instigate this deep fall be still be the ones to rise the bull, so, HODL for it will not tarry!!!.

I think for the time being I prefer holding. And even I will buy more bitcoin. Because I'm sure the price of bitcoin will rise again. I think the decline in bitcoin prices is currently affected by the BCH hardfork incident. When everything is normal and stable, I'm sure the price of bitcoin will rise again. Yes, just hold and still be patient.

The current market situation is the best hold option or adding funds for your investment amount, the market is very cheap and in my opinion this is the moment of investment for the biggest profit next year

Both are indeed, this two are most commonly did by the community users of crypto. Particularly now, majority of the coin holders are bullish including myself of course, because this is the only way I can do to recover all the losses have gone before during a couple of months which has been declined in a long period of time, so I guess we just need to be patience only.

Both coz i believe bitcoin and altcoins will rise again and also i have a big loss on bitcoin and ethereum so i really have to hold it. I believe the market situation is the best time to buy coins/tokens and hold it until next year. Risky but i know it's worth it.

I don't think that the cryptomarket will grow in the near future. I just don't sell coins, because I don't see the point. Now I’ll get very little money for them. I hope that someday these coins will be a big surprise for me.

I hodl simply because it makes trading much more easier for me,as I do not really have to do much calculations and studying of the market situation,i just hodl diverse coins, for a particular period of time stipulated by me, and if the price isn't at my desired price, I simply continue to hodl on, it could be frustrating most times, especially if the price isn't coming good, but a panic sale is always out of my plans

I'm using Bitcoin for a five years now and I've seen much worse scenarios with Bitcoin and didn't give up so I don't have such bad attitude towards current price. I hold Bitcoin because I beleive it and because it's my way of life. I know that not always situation will be ideal and we have to hold on the bad times too. That is how I see it. I usualy don't buy Bitcoins but earn them so I'm in much better situation than those who have bought it and lost a lot since last year. That is why your personal goals and strategy are very important.

Well, I'll say I hope he gets up. Although I have a lot to lose. I didn't buy $ 20,000 worth of bitcoin. I bought violas that have fallen dozens of times, due to the fact that bitcoin has slipped. And to reach at least zero, you need to make bitcoin rally. So I am a long term holder

I think there is a combination of two factors. People lost a lot and believe in growth. In general, this is a very difficult year psychologically for each of us. The fact that you have self-conflict by such questions is nothing terrible.

I hold all my cryptos because I trust that in the long run the market will have a strong appreciation movement and my investments may have the returns that I want. But I also agree that selling now would not help at all and so the only option is to believe that the market will once again become bullish.

I personally have a couple of coins where I'm not selling because I'm in great loss, so I prefer not to sell and wait better times... it's better to wait for a recovery of the market in my opinion than to sell in great loss.
