The first time i joined the cryptoshere, MEW is the wallet that they kept on saying that is good but with the phishing websites that target users i am worried that i will fall victim to these scammers so i look for another safe wallet. I found Trust wallet and i find it good and safe as well and very convenient to use even if you are in a go.
You don't need to worry with those phishers if you aren't clicking any suspicious website that looks like MEW.

And you can prevent yourself from being a victim of these phishing links, you just need to bookmarket MEW and don't access through search engines. That's it and you are totally fine by doing that. Most of the victims are clicking those MEW a-like sites on their emails hoping to get some airdrops.

The best and most recommended wallets are hard wallets such as trezor and others offering same functions. This is because they are properly protected against the vulnerabilities associated with online wallets. In the absence of these wallets, there are other good wallets online such as trust wallet for erc20 tokens and coinomi for multiple blockchain tokens. These are some of the best wallet found online with good security ensuring unauthorised access. However, having a good wallet is not enough. The user must always ensure his/her wallet information is kept safe at all times away from the risks of exposure. Only then can any wallet be truly safe. Good luck!

I prefer to use MyEtherWallet. Easy to use, very convenient and I have never had problems with transactions. I have never heard anyone have any problems with this wallet

Phishing websites are the main problem for this MEW wallet because i have read a lot of post here saying that they were victims of this fraud. Bookmarking is one way of preventing you to be victims of this fraudulent act but there are a lot of newbies engaging in crypto that are very vulnerable to this scammers. Hope MEW could developed an APP for their wallet.

I think myetherwallet is the safest one. Atleast for me. It is very easy to use supported by every eth based token and eth itself. And it has a great security also. If you are careful about your security then it's hard to fool you for anyone. But still you you have money then I will recommend you a hardware wallet like ladger nano Science or maybe trezor wallet. But if you don't have one I think myetherwallet is based for erc20. Just avoid phishing link from anyone even trusted one. And don't open your wallet all the time if you have to check the balance. Use ant eth block explorer or wallet explorer like eth to check your wallet

Which wallet do you consider for ERC-20 tokens and how safe is it?

Well if you're talking about wallet with ERC-20 tokens and Ethereum to store, then it would be the MyEthereumWallet. It is a common wallet for cryptocurrencies and it is easy to use and safe for your altcoins to store.

I prefer MyEtherWallet. It is safe enough but I prefer to use additional protection steps:
- opening the MEW site it only in an incognito browser mode
- saving private keys and password on an encrypted flash card

I trust offline MyEtherWallet.
You can buy a cheap laptop and use it always offline to generate offline transactions with MEW.
(And this laptop may be much cheaper then any hardware wallet.)
Use those generated transactions on the online PC to send ETH and tokens.
In this case your private keys will be always offline and safe...

With me now, I see Myetherwallet combine with Metamask is the best choice. If you have lots of money and need the absolutely safety, you should use cold storage wallet such as Trezor or Ledger Nano S

It is Myetherwallet, first af all. It's pretty secure if you don't click the wrong links yourself. There is still Metamask, it is installed on your computer, it recently began to support Trezor and Ledger as well.

For ERC20 tokens I'm still use myetherwallet well it's a safe wallet as long you do not share your private key to anyone even your family members for more safer you can use metamask.

I am using myetherwallet but using it through hardware wallet as only hardware wallets are fully safe and trusted and no one can enter in your account as it is a physical wallet and the only owner can authorize any transaction.

I use ledger nano s hardware wallet to store my assets. I believe this is one of the safest options for storing cryptocurrency. In addition, I use multi wallet JAXX. For more than 1 year of use I had no problems. Therefore recommend to all!

There nearly no any trust issues about the popular wallet services. Myetherwallet and Metamask are some.
99% of the problems are from the users side. Phising, Keylogger and mistakenly sending coins to incorrect address are the ways people lost most of their coins.
