Anyone know how long usually it takes for ICO projects to list their tokens on an exchange? Is it different with other exchanges?
In order for a project token to appear on the exchange, there is no definitely exact time, because everything depends directly on the plans, the strategy of the project and their desire. At the moment, most of the projects significantly prolong and drag out the list time on the stock exchange of their token, because they are afraid of a significant decrease in the price of it, and this can also negatively affect the development of the project.

Good teams start applying to exchanges during the ICO stage, because the process can take up to 3 months. Thus, the tokens are listed right after the ICO is finished. However, I think that in most of cases it take at least a month. You should also note that a lot of ICOs never make it to the exchanges at all. I didn't understand the reason before, I thought that it's weird not to list an exchange and at least let people return some of their funds. Having worked for one ICO project, I now realize that getting listed is a very complicated and also expensive process. Even shitty exchanges charge some thousands of dollars, while more reputable ones can have tens of bitcoins listing fee. If the ICO gathered millions, it's not a problem, but if it essentially failed, getting listed might be extremely costly.

usually, listing on the first exchange takes no more than two-three weeks from ico. but this is only if the project is honest.

Each time a different project that happens in different ways. It happens that the tokens are already traded on the exchange and even before the ICO is completed, and it happens that you wait six months until the tokens appear on some exchange.

There is no exact duration on listing in an exchange.
there are so many factors to see in this community.
IF the project will pust the exchange in early stage it can happen.
there are some ICO who were listed in an exchange before the ICO sale ends.
There are some who get so llong to be listed.
there are some who are listed on small exchange and never engage into big market.
we dont know when they will be listed.

That is trrue, in exchange we cannot determine when it will happen. The assurance will not totally sure but once the exchange happens it will gradually secure for the sureness of the project. In this type of business it is risky but I like it most when it continuosly give the best project and the best profit ever.

Never the same coin that I received did not go on an exchange on the exchange within 2 weeks. At least a month goes by before listing.

It depends on how good and persuasive they are when talking with exchange representatives. And of course the weight of their purse. I've heard that in other to get listed on Binance these days, you need a million bucks at least. Whether that is true, I don't know. But I know for sure, that it is not cheap. Listing on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) may be totally free of charge (not 100% about that), but still they don't list just any shitcoin.

It will depend on each project. Each team of the project will have different preparation, readiness, and also right time to release the tokens on the market. It will commonly vary on one months to 5 months. I have received the tokens for more than 4 months ago and until now, it has not been listed on exchange. Just be patient for waiting the right time for the listing.

It all depends on the project developers. To place tokens on the exchange, you do not need anything difficult, except to pay the necessary amount of money. The more famous the stock exchange, the more expensive the placement.
The more investment a project receives, the greater the chance that it will quickly place its tokens on a good exchange.

Every exchange has different times and requirements. If an ICO project is good and their product is very extraordinary, of course it must be very fast, and that also depends on the exchange. If the Top 5 exchange is certainly very fast. If the main exchange of the old listing is certainly waiting for the turn of the other project.

During last months big exchanges like Binance don't list any new coins or list few coins only. As a result most ICOs tokens are not listed on big exchanges so investors sell it on IDEX or Bilaxy below ICO price and leave the market. Some HODLers are still holding for the new bull run but unfortunately there is no new bull run  Cry

Listing of any project on exchange don't depend on what time, the dev of the project will only determine whenever the coin can be listed on any exchange and it also depends on their efforts and how rich is the project which is the earning amount during the ico, that also determines how fast the listing will be most exchange are more about price and that's why some shit coins are also listed.

ICO just find the good time where their tokens really do good performance. In the good market condition max 1 month or in bad situation sometime over three months also. Even some never come in the Exchange.

Tokens from ICO projects will be listed on exchange quickly or slowly depend on dev team and the amount of money will they pay. But the most important thing is the quality of project behind each token. Good exchange always wanna list good token from good project only so if it's a good ICO project then its token will be listed very quickly on a really good exchange.

This can vary between centralized and decentralized tokens.
Listing on the decentralized exchange is easier and cheaper than other big guys.
But token has to be ERC20 or Nep-1 to be traded on decent exchanges.

For how long the new token can enter Exchange, of course, it all depends on the project developer if the developer dares to spend big capital by installing a portfolio on a large market, it will not require very long time, but usually there are some projects that have constraints and roadmap on the project So by looking at the road map, of course we can find out when the token will enter the market.

Mostly the project will always announced their listing date and which market they will be listed. Some of them are listed right after their ICO sale finished, some of them takes some weeks, couple months. And also some of ICO project are listed in exchange even the public sale not finished yet.

each project has a different time and roadmap, so it is usually erratic, there is something longer than the target time to be achieved, but as long as I notice there is no project that has a target faster than expected. except indeed usually sales only reach softcaps or less

Anyone know how long usually it takes for ICO projects to list their tokens on an exchange? Is it different with other exchanges?

depends on the ICO project, there is no definite time because all ICO project have different times for listing their coin in the exchange, there are ICO project that register on the exchange when the project from the ICO is finished (have a product) so they are sure when entering exchange the price will definitely increase and most ICO project immediately register their coin on the exchange when the ICO is finished or there were also ICO project that listed their coin in exchange before their ICO was finished, so when the ICO is finished the investors can immediately trading with coin from the ICO project, therefore every ICO project has a different time and does not have a provision for how long it usually takes to listing on exchange.
