A friend of mine started to save money in BTC for his son.
Now he is in worry about the idea because of this last dropping months.

I told him to re-load some BTC up to lower the average.

Well, I think there's no certain answer for this question. I guess saving money in bitcoin is a brilliant idea. Yet, as you said, looking at this current situation it seems that bitcoin is not fully safe to save your money. It's just because no one can guarantee about the success on saving money, especially for your kids and their necessity, in other words there's a mistrust issue. But, the milleninials, Andreas M. Bitcoin is volatile, everything here is unpredictable, it's price changes and we do not know when will it rise so it is not a good idea that everything that you save for your son are all come from bitcoin. You can use bitcoin as an additional savings or profit but do not rely everything in BTC, there are also factors that can affect in earning BTC like scams, hacked, and others. So I think it is not a good way.

Bitcoin can be a good way to save money for kids or it can be a bad thing and it always depends on how bitcoin will progress in the future which is something that we cannot decide at the moment but some predict bitcoin will be destroyed by considering current price drop which is a really bad prediction because no one can certainly say that so it is up to the parent to decide whether to save money for there kid through bitcoin or not but according to my point of view why not at least invest a small amount rather than avoiding a potential investment option

I agree no one has to only rely upon bitcoin investment specially when saving money for there kids which is a major choice for both parents and the kid but it won't be in vain if some one invest a simple amount in a valuable investing asset like bitcoin because even its prices are low these days there is a high possibility to recover in the near future so the risk that was taken will not be wasted in any way if invested in the correct time and the correct amount

I think this is a great idea. In the long run, bitcoin should show growth. Otherwise, if the money will lie in the bank, then they will be depreciated due to inflation. Definitely - bitcoin is more profitable compared to a bank deposit.

ALL the bitcoin in my portfolio is for my children’s future and if not for them the maybe for my grandchildrens,because i believe that this currency is deserved for the next generations technology thats why i make sure to reserved for them

I still believe bitcoin will lead the world. Its always a good idea to save btc for future. Its ok that now the market is down but it can move anytime and also if you save it for your kids it would be long time hold and you will get your value definitely. Nobody knows what future Bitcoin will have. Therefore, investing a large amount in Bitcoin is very risky for your child. Depending on the amount you want to invest, my answer will be built. If the amount is 1 bitcoin, buy it and you will not regret it.If the same amount of investment 100 bitcoins, then I advise you to refrain from this undertaking. I think it is a good way to store money for our kids but do not store all of your money here. It will be nice if you money get double,x3,x4,...x10 after years but what if the price falls or bitcoin die ?

I think if they save Bitcoin for their children then that would be a good choice. As in the future, I believe Bitcoin prices will rise sharply and the amount of Bitcoin reserves will be a great gift for their children.

Bitcoin is an investment, when it give you profit, take and leave it. What use of a bank if not to save money, if want only to save money bank is already good choice, this is what people must change.

Indeed, better not put all our money in bitcoin. Better diversify our investment. Property, Stocks is good investment beside government bonds and bitcoin. Bitcoin already known as high risk investment and its better keep it for long term
