Selling is losing, if you bought for higher price. Most of us have much less if you value your stash by dollars, its normal thing in crypto thats happened many times before. Now only thing we can do is to wait, to be patience. Its like that with bitcoin and other coins, but I have fun with some low cost coins all the time, you can buy some coins in this dip and in short or mid term I make some profit like that, trading is predicating the market and that game never stops, some lose other wins, you choose your side.

Well it depends on you if you need to get back your funds then sell but don't regret when the prices starts to increase again. There are many strategies to do now that might suit your market trade style, but i personally advice you to just keep hold and add your coins since the market is down and prices are low until the market booms again or when the prices are quite stable again.

I think you've been reading way too many idiotic posts on this forum, and I suspect you're taking advice and getting financial information from the wrong people.

There's no way for anyone to give you any solid advice without knowing how much bitcoin or altcoins you own and what price you bought them at.  If you're currently in the red, I'd probably just hold onto what you've got.  If you sell, you're going to lose money--and that's a certainty if you bought at a price higher than where the market is at now.  And yes, if you hold you might have a chance of recovering and even making a profit. 

But remember, I'm just a random internet person and what I just said should not constitute sound financial advice.  That's true of everyone else here, too, but it's important to realize this and not put too much stock in what the hype-sters and FUDDers tell you.

No one wants to hold when a bearish market occurs, so in my opinion the decision depends on how much loss you will experience when selling it at this time, for example if your loss is too large even exceeding 50% of your initial money then my suggestion is to keep holding until a when crypto is recovering, because if you sell then only the loss you experience. Just wait patiently with the assets you are holding, in such bear market if you try to scalp any coin you may lose the remaining amount. It is better if we do hold more and stop looking to our portfolio because it does bring a negative effect on our emotions. It might tend to push us to sell them instead of holding, we should have cut our losses and stop doing some selling because of the fear that you might get back your investments. I know it is so risky to invest in the crypto market but the risk is 50% chances, either lose or win depends on how you handle the market.
