for starters the market is over populated by shitcoins most of which are ICO tokens. and the manipulation has been at the highest in the past 2 years with pump and dumps.

Indeed as i see the market situation i see a bright future cryptomarket next year, declining prices on this current market seems to be a good sign of what would be the 2019 could bring? pretty interesting right.
