I think you should stay away from ICOs, since the market has not started recovering yet. One of the major reason why most ICO failed this year is because of the bear-market. It is wise to start investing in ICOs again if the market had begun recovering, or showing bullish market movements. Wait next year, maybe once Bakkt starts, the market will somehow recover.

Keep away from ICO investing for now there is a huge chances that you are going to lose all you money on that. I've been experienced this kind of lost after investing on such a good ICO for me but then when it first introduced to the market it dumps and decrease its price drastically for about 1 or 1 satoshi, the token was shut down by dumpers. This is because of down and bearish market situation these past few months and investing on ICO's are not really recommendable.

I do recommend to invest on solid ico projects.. So be careful, that's my advice! Check icos with a demo platforms or ecosystem. And ask yourself how useful this project is? Is it practical for our life and mush needed for the every day life?

Make sure that you will know every corner of an ICO.

This is how I am looking at it, with everything very cheap, my advice would be to just buy a few mature coins such as, BTC, ETH, LTC, NANO, NEO. I would then hold and wait for the next bull run. Once the prices rises back up to ATH, I would then sell it and invest in an ICO buy then you will get 3 to 5 times your original investment, then another 5-10x's off of the ICO's. Any ICO that is currently running is in fear of not reaching hard/soft cap, and has decided to wait or extend the ICO. Investing in an ICO is not good right now as most projects are failing!!!! 2019 will be the year to invest!
