Buying some good altcoins are not a bad idea actually they are to many altcoins are have some potential to make you rich. And the two altcoins you mention maybe that one is a potential and have a future to increase the price and become popular on us. And for now we need to search one of altcoins that we can hold long.

Okay when BTC was still 5.5k I predicted it will head to 6.5, today it is 6.5 already. For me it is a good time now, alts grow, main coins stable. Why not buy. I will hodl Bitcoin, Etheruem (50% my investment), and Cordano, Historia, Stellar, Binance coin (In total 50%)

Despite the recent upsurge in Bitcoin's price, it's still the perfect time to buy altcoins. Over the past days, Bitcoin has increased in price while most altcoins' gains were little. It could've been someone pumping the price of BTC (probably whales) to buy altcoins with the profit earned from it.

Things aside, if you're deeply into altcoins, then I'd suggest that you only invest into those that are active in development and innovation. There are only a few altcoins which meet such criteria, but it's up to you to do your own research in this regard. Basically, when there's a bear market, it's the perfect time to buy altcoins in huge quantities. But, when a bull market begins, you should have some altcoins ready to sell for profit.

Nonetheless, while there are some altcoins that are good for long-term investment, Bitcoin is still the ideal choice for serious investors on the market. Just my opinion

For what I know, altcoins have greater fluctuations in price than Bitcoin itself. This would allow you to profit in an instant or all the other way around it. Knowing that top-ranked cryptocurrencies in market cap (like Ethereum and Cardano) are extremely active in development and innovation, should be a reason enough to buy some now for the future. After all, prices are still relatively low compared to 2017's ATHs.

Ethereum is way below the $1,000 mark it crossed by then, while other altcoins follow suit. Of course, investing into ETH or any other cryptocurrency requires patience as they can either react positively or negatively price on the market. Depending on your budget, you can choose to invest into a fraction of a coin, instead of buying a full amount. My suggestion would be that you invest into small fractions of Ethereum in order to accumulate for the next bull market.

Once this happens, then early adopters will greatly benefit as they double or triple their investment in no time. Still though, it's your responsibility to do your own research when buying any altcoin on the market since crypto behaves in mysterious ways leaving you with the possibility of becoming bankrupt in the future if wrong decisions are made.

Nonetheless, altcoins are at a large discount these days which prove to be quite attractive for investors and traders alike. Just my thoughts

Exactly. The smart money will invest into cryptocurrencies with a solid track of development and innovation throughout the years. Knowing that the bear market of 2018 has caused many altcoins to fall drastically in price should be a reason enough to invest before it's too late. Altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, and NEM are great buys right now given that they're active in development and popular within the mainstream world. Among them, Ethereum seems to have a higher chance of increasing in price within the future because of its upcoming improvements. There's the feeling that once ETH switches to PoS, many people will have FOMO across the market causing the price per coin to rise towards unprecedented levels.
