Not to trivialize altcoin which is very good, but I don't see the importance of investing in altcoin right away.
actually it's better to invest in bitcoin because seeing the development of the ups and downs can be enough to meet the benefits for the short term which can produce good profits.

It can be the right time to buy altcoins. But nobody really know if the down trend is finished. We can see some resistance from some altcoins to not fall down more. But some altcoins are still falling lower now. It is like people  are still trying to maintain the dominance of bitcoin to near 70 percent.

Agree. The level of uncertainty of crypto, makes us think twice before investing into specific cryptocurrencies. Altcoin prices seem to become lower each day, while Bitcoin has remained within the $10,400 - $10,500 range. Its market dominance has been rising slowly but surely over the past days, which could be a result of market manipulation. This makes me believe that Investors and traders are selling their altcoins in exchange for Bitcoin. This activity results in a lower price for alts because of their lower demand across the market.

Right now, most altcoins are in the red, while Bitcoin is green most of the time. You could take advantage of the situation by buying more altcoins the moment they become cheaper across the crypto market. Your stash of Bitcoin will prove to be useful for obtaining large quantities of alts at the lowest price possible. Once the bull market begins, you could sell prominent alts like Ethereum and Litecoin in exchange for cash or Bitcoin. But be aware, that a wrong decision here or there, could lead you towards bankruptcy. Only actively developed and maintained altcoins, are ideal for your investment. You should perform your own research before making your moves based on hype or other's opinion. Once you do that, you'll rest assured that your investment will last for a very long time.

Nonetheless, it's still the right time to buy alts as most of the market is in red. This opportunity for profit may not last long, as institutional investors come into play and ETFs are approved by the SEC. Which is why it's best to become an early adopter of the most prominent altcoins in existence before it's too late. Just my thoughts

Maybe for some people, investing in altcoin will give big profit. Can't resist it because altcoin sometime move in percentage is higher than bitcoin. But personally i will agree if investing in bitcoin is a good idea because it is safer.

Once the Bitcoin dominance keeps increasing, a bloody market for alt coins will continue. The last time I saw alts are booming was the ICO fever before, also on reaching the all-time-high around $19,000.

It's no secret that the ICO boom has come to an end. This was largely attributed towards SEC's actions over the past years. Without massive demand from investors into tokens or altcoins, prices will decline massively across the crypto market. The new trend seems to be IEOs and STOs but that hasn't taken off in the same way as ICOs did back in 2017. Given that most altcoins don't have real use cases for the mainstream world, I'm afraid that Bitcoin will continue to soar towards new ATHs in market cap over time. It wouldn't be surprising to see Bitcoin remain as the top cryptocurrency by market cap within the not-so-distant future.

In the end, most altcoins will die because of their lack of usability within the mainstream world. Only a select few will be able to survive because of commitment to deliver true development and innovation for the world. Ethereum is a good example of an altcoin that will survive for the foreseeable future. All in all, this is still the right time to buy alts as they become cheaper like never before. Just my opinion

There's no coin in the crypto market thats very expensive as you said cause all the coin in the market are experiencing the current dump in price and this current market trend is the best time to accumulate more cryptocurrency but I rather accumulate more bitcoin than altcoin cause every utilized altcoin will follow the bitcoin trend when it halving.

I think it's better to go with just NEO, TRX and Ethereum when you think of investing in altcoins. I know that some would say Ether is already quite up and how much will it go. But it is a potential bullish coin so whatever you say it has a tons of prospects to go for a bull run in future. I would rather say you to definitely go and buy some of these.

Exactly. With crypto's wild prices over time, we cannot know for certainty the time to buy any altcoin on the market. It's up to you to do your own research about a specific cryptocurrency's development team, and ambitions. Also, you'll need to analyze the market carefully in order to determine the right time to buy or sell any cryptocurrency. Of course, altcoins will always be cheaper than Bitcoin itself. You can  choose the most prominent altcoins on the market that are bound to become a rock-solid investment for years to come. For example, you can spend some money into Ethereum, Litecoin, EOS, and Monero on a weekly basis to grow your stash of coins for the future. One way or another, a bull market will re-emerge allowing you to profit massively from these cryptocurrencies.

While market cap is not a true indicator of a cryptocurrency's success or prominence within the mainstream world, you can always head to mainstream news/media in order to find out the latest happenings of a specific cryptocurrency and make your decision based on them. If it were to me, I'd invest a small portion of my earnings into the top cryptocurrencies on the market every week, while the rest will be put up into Bitcoin itself. This would allow me to diversify my investment in order to reduce the risks of losing money as much as possible. But of course, you must proceed with caution when investing into crypto as they're extremely unpredictable. All in all, as an investor, you're the one who determines the right time to buy altcoins. If you believe that right now it's the perfect opportunity to get into the market, then it's your decision. Just my opinion

Investing in altcoin is good but going for NEO and TRX which is respectively centralized coin and controlled by some Chinese cartel and coin which it owner was arrested for some crime which could possibly create another situation which may affect the coin in future is not better buddy.
Is better to go for ETH and other decentralized top 100 coin.

It's never too late to invest crypto, there is always an opportunity to get profits up to 10x, the point is we have to be able to choose coins that have the potential to skyrocket (new listed coin) and of course it takes courage to lose.

very heavy indeed guys. I hold some altcoins that don't have project updates. and until now the prices continue to fall. but indeed most of altcoin is falling. the best thing is to buy altcoin like Ethereum, LTC, XRP, BCH, because some of these coins have project updates.

I think this bear market is a perfect moment to invest into the Altcoins. They have suffered of big dumps and during the next bull run they may skyrocket. In particular the latest altcoins that have been added or are going to be added on Coinbase. Among those Altcoins I think the one with the greatest potential is BAT which make a great use of the social media and social contents.

Another altcoin I really think has a great potential and i just recently believed in it, is Tron. If we look at the number of active DAPPs is now the first network, has overcome EOS and ETH. In fact, there are also many interesting new projects which use the TRX platform (EVEN similar approach to BAT).

Agree that indeed most people have actually been investing for a long time. bitcoin decline trend that occurred since 2018 signifies that is when many people start talking about investing in altcoin when it is the right thing. and will benefit this year. the fact is that this year the conditions are also not so good
