Gold is complicade for selling, and buying. if you need money as soon as posible gold is complicated to sell, but if you have bitcoins, you can sell them in matter of minutes.


gold is good but for really long term.
bitcoin is good if you need fast money and long term money.

Gold or Bitcoin for 10 years? It is not easy to choose when it comes to value improvement. I am not yet really sure about what bitcoin could be on 10 years if it will grow up or fall down even if it's value became so high today. For me I would rather convert all my wealth on gold because if I would keep it for ten years, I can use it as accessories because it has physical appearance and is beautiful in the sight of people, bitcoin has no physical appearance at all. Gold has proven many things since the old days. So for me I would choose gold instead of bitcoin.

There is no doubt that gold cannot get disappeared and same is correct for digital gold also. However, nobody is exactly offering free gold or bitcoin. My vote is with the second one because bitcoin can produce huge profits in a less time whereas gold does not increase in its value very fast. Moreover, it is easy to make transactions in bitcoin and cheap also.

1) The fact you can buy and sell gold anywhere is a bad thing?

2) Gold is centralized and you think bitcoin isnt and its not manipulated.  Bitcoin market cap is about 0.001% of golds, if they can manipulate gold price they can do it to bitcoin with pocket change.  How many organisations control the majority of bitcoins hashing power?

3) To say bitcoin has advantages against gold is nonsense as gold also has advantages over bitcoin.  One is physical the other digital so cannot be compared.

4) You can buy small amounts of bitcoin, you can buy gold down to grain level (not grams)

5) Your welcome to your faucet earnings, I have no interest in scraping around for dust.

Obviuosly i would choose gold over bitcoin. Volatility on bitcoin holds a big risk. I would raise bitcoin and on the right rime trade it to harvest golds..

With digital gold you have the claim that the debtor must deliver a certain amount of gold, but if he fails to deliver then you will never see your real gold and it has disappeared!

Of course bitcoin, our future for sure would be a world with every things like appliances, House, cars etc. uses internet. You wouldn't want to push to pay golds for that kind of era right? Looking at the millennials like me, we are not craving for gold or some jewelry but we crave for crazy gadgets with high end specs and fancy features. Well maybe if you can make gold digital, i would chose it. Nonetheless, bitcoin is my choice.

In profiting bitcoin is better if you have tons of bitcoin in your wallet or you have invested with it earlier. I don't have to contest these two things because they have the same usage and type of investment. Look at the jewelries section most of the people prefer is gold because it's widely spread that gold is a precious thing and we can't remove that in the minds of the people that are gold believers.
