Bitcoin or gold?

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

for me I would still choose bitcoin because bitcoin is more promising and can generate much profit than gold even for 5 or 10 years

For me, Bitcoin is the most powerful tool. Though Gold has been considered the most precious element from the ancient time period. Not only that gold has a relatively stable price, on the other hand, Bitcoin is a disrupted technological system so that Bitcoin is completely dependent on the Internet connection.
That is why Bitcoin is less reliable than Gold. I believe that if the price of Bitcoin may follow the stability then Bitcoin will get more popular than gold.

I started with an investment of around $200 in 2012. Now my Bitcoin holdings are worth more than 50% of my net wealth. On the other hand, I had invested close to $1,000 in gold (around at the same time). But the gold prices have remained stable and even now gold holdings represent only a small fraction of my portfolio.

I think gold is a safe option. Although bitcoin is a risky option, it will make you rich in future.

Safety is gold and risky but profitable is bitcoin as always. IMO i prefer Bitcoin more. Cause i'm a young guy.

Before i would choose gold than bitcoin because it is stable and it is used as currency in ancient times but now bitcoin has gaining popularity and the price is still rising despite of criticism it got to some "experts" and some "notable" person in business, bitcoin is still strong and it price gained 6x higher since 2017 i will now believe in bitcoin as good investment and i hope bitcoin will be good as gold in terms of popularity someday.

If you talk about for long period of time then before 5 year bitcoin price is too much low as compare to current rate and as same like this if look at the property or gold price, then you can understand what is the great gap of price between bitcoin and other, similarly after 5 years bitcoin price will go more and more high and according to analyzers it will touch to sky.

I will choose bitcoin, it is more expensive than gold, i don't know how long bitcoin will survive so i just keep or hold my bitcoin until it is in the market and i can freely access my bitcoin.

I will go for both as both gold and bitcoins are valuable in the market so i don't mind keeping both.

The price and the importance of the bitcoin is the best value of the day, all the people are now using the bitcoin and it is the time to invest in the bitcoin so buy the bitcoin you will get the profit. It is the time to buy the bitcoin and to hold for the long time so for the stable income and the valuable investment you should use the bitcoin and the income of the bitcoin as the saving for the long time.

There is no guarantee about Bitcoin. Either it can make you filthy rich, or it can eat away your investment. Are you ready to make an investment in Bitcoin at the current prices ($6,600 per coin)? The psychological barrier is always there. When I entered the Bitcoin scene, the exchange rates were going at around $1,000 per coin. Now it has increased by more than 6 times.

Bitcoin oh Gold..?  Bitcoin is somewhat digital thing. but Gold is physical thing that we can touch. these both value are getting up. but my choice is Bitcoin. because , I think BTC price will go to mass End of next year. Many people want to invest in gold because gold is is created in many years ago but i want to invest in bitcoin.Now you can see that how much btc price and value is rising.After 1-2 years it's price will hit 21000$+.So i wil choose bitcoin

I'm a firm believer that fiat money, backed by gold, is not going to be leaving anytime soon. Bitcoin is a good substitute, but not on the same playing filed in terms of ease of distribution and acquisition.

Of course my choice would be bitcoin. Specially because I am not very fond of gold and find its value and existence trivial why such shiny metal is worth that much value aside from being used for aesthetic purposes in life. Bitcoins would be a great investment and if given the wealth to buy and hold a lot of bitcoins then that would be my top priority because the market charts are backing up my decision and confidence that bitcoin will succeed.

Bitcoin's value has exceeded the Gold price. No wonder investors prefer to invest in Bitcoin rather than gold. And the usefulness of bitcoin is more in comparison with gold. But the existence of the current bitcoin can not remove gold.

No risk, no gain. If you're already in bitcoin for a year or two, you'll never think about that risk. What risk are you talking about? The volatility? The unstable price? It's decentralization? Name that risk as all of them are advantage but I've got to mention some major problem on bitcoin. If you'll pay lower fees the transaction will be getting less confirmation so your transaction will be stuck in the network.

if the presence of bitcoin to remove the gold in my opinion is not possible but if the bitcoin beyond the gold it is new I believe as the current bitcoin far above gold,
