Cryptocurrency’s popularity has yet to dwindle, with its rise and potential growing drastically. As of July 2018, there are almost 2,000 cryptocurrencies globally (according to Investing.com). Cryptocurrency has long been considered a disruptor, with a refreshing take on the finance industry that attracts innovators and non-conformists. But no matter how radical this newcomer on the block is, there is plenty to learn from those that it intends to disrupt: Wall Street.

The main lesson is evident - the cryptocurrencies market can go down or up at any time, and we must be ready for all changes. Lesson number two: Bitcoin will be always number one, even during the greatest falls.

The most valuable lesson I learnt in 2018 is that I should never hold a token if the project has no working product and a passionate team, and that I should always follow my heart when buying and selling tokens.

Patience , believe and hope are the main things to be learned in every field wether it's crypto or any other thing. All the investors who had these things are enjoying today and the ones who don't , they are regretting about that decision which they made.

My only lesson from crypto in 2018 is that i am getting panic selling of my coins when i see the price of crypto was in down trend and my patience was tested at that time, from now on i am getting more patience when there is bloody market because later on the market it will bounce back.

Well, I have learnt so many things as regards this space, one of which include: controlling your emotions, if you can control your emotions, it will help a long way, also being satisfied with the gains you have made, you don't have to be greedy waiting for 100% gain else you loose everything.

In crypto, I have learnt to have patience especially when holding a coin with potentials, don't panic sell just because it is dipping, I have had time when I panic sell only for me to see the coin increasing positively. So patience is a value I have learnt.

many lessons I experienced in 2018, like how to survive when the market is bad, I got important experience in trading. at that time the market was really not good, many ico were cheating and most of the price of coins also dropped dramatically, but what I learned was a way of survival and could be profitable when the market situation was not good.

That's right being greed those days tend me to learn a lot of lessons last 2018, and I really missed it all up that time. Perhaps if I have decided so quick that time I wouldn't endure holding my asset very long. But that's not the end of everything, the time still ticks so moving onward is the best strategy to address things on the right path.

be patient and learn the movement of the chart on TF Week, this is the precious lesson that I got,
because patience needs to stay in crypto, and also see TF week is needed to see the crypto movement, whether it is bullish or bearish, so we are not careless when investing in the future.

I, too, was in high expectations for the growth of the Bitcoin price in 2018. And now I realized that I need to be very patient in the cryptocurrency market.

the lessons I learned from crypto 2018 are very numerous, because I know crypto indeed in 2018 as well, that's where I learned many things such as the ICO program, bounty campaign, trading, etc. Besides that I also tried to trading from the bounty reward that I got , but because it was too greedy to wait for the coin to rise even higher, in the end the market experienced a disaster, and that was a very important lesson for me

I have learned a lot of lessons from crypto last year, and an example from those lessons is dont ever give up if the prices of all cryptos is dumping, i really learn to trust the market and wait until they bounce back and i also learn to not to do panic selling.

You can make money on cryptocurrency, but it's not as easy as you thought before. This is the most important lesson.

What valuable lessons have you learnt from the crypto space in 2018 and how is it going to shape your involvement in the space going forward? Looking to your responses, hoping one or two persons learns a thing two from them.

the big lesson for me is capital diversification and not to be greedy when the market change green
Diversification is for noobs that do not know what to do with money.
Look how many people are holding here 100 cryptocurrencies instead of 1. And how many of them are in green numbers? Maybe noone?  Cheesy

The most valuable lesson that i've learned in crypto this 2018 of january is, you cannot hodl forever, you need to have a set of rules when you should take profits because you can't make money if you dont sell.

The main lesson that I learned for myself is that we don’t have to rush to make decisions when the market changes dramatically, to sit better in large projects (Ethereum or Bitcoin) - then you don’t lose your capital, and the dollar losses will be restored sooner or later!

the lessons I took in 2018 lost a lot of money, I mean at that time I had invested in the ico project and it turned out that the project I was following was fraudulent. this is very painful and difficult to forget. That is why I currently spend more time researching before investing in the Ico project

Lessons? The only lesson what I have learned is to buy more cryptocurrencies no matter the price.
Dollar cost average strategy is the best what you can do if you are not sure where market is going.
