This is the most we learned from crypto that we cannot predict price. The project we thought can survive in the market somehow did not sustain it’s price and become worthless. We have to understand that prices are unpredictable and we should learn from our past failure.

Predictions and investors whom totally depend on predictions are gamblers. They should not be called as investors, because real investors always have plans in case their original plans fail. They will have plan to cut loss and have plans to do DCA, and other things. From what happened in crypto 2018, the key thing should be remembered is holders will survive during terrible market.

I learn lessons almost every day. new things are appearing in crypto. IEOs are appeared this year, so this is also a lesson for me. I think later something new will appear.

I can not disagree with you at all. There are new projects born every day, there are new hot trends pop up over time, and there are projects turn into scam or dead every day too. IEOs is the latest hot trend in crypto, and we should take advantage of that trend in order to enrich our portfolio as much as possible. However, it will not last for too long, and we should make note in front of our computers or any kind of alarming messages, that all help us to remember do exits at the right time when the trend of IEOs cools down and comes to the end.

One major thing I've learned from the long bear market of 2018 is that irrespective of how long and severe the bear market may present itself, cryptocurrency market has got the capabilities to recover and rise again as witnessed in 2019 especially in the Q2. Nice question, I have really learnt enough in this space, going by the happenings now, I know I really messed up back then but now I have learnt to be Patience especially when a potential coin I have is dipping, I don't need to sell at a loss because it will surely come back up, also I learnt not to be greedy, when I see a little profit, I take but back then I would want the profit to keep increasing in percentage only for me to see it back at a loss. Also I learnt not to buy coins because others are buying it instead I do some research to know if it is worth it.

Lessons I learnt in 2018:

1. Be patient.
2. Admit your mistakes and learn from them.
3. Don't forget about stop loss!
4. Don't be afraid to lose money, it's an experience.
5. Due diligence is extremely important.

you forgot to add this,  "always take profits " this goes a long way back then,  because lots of tokens were pumping very well then,  so those who still decided to hold for a long term had their selves to blame at the long run

The best lessons I learnt from 2018 were to be patient when holding coins I believe in, not to dump so cheap especially at severe dips and also to avoid greed while holding coins. If I see reasonable gains in coins I'm not holding for very long term, I will dump and wait for dips. If it's worth it, I will still accumulate more at dips if it ever happens anyway.

In my opinion, patience is the key to success in trading or crypto life. I just learnt it by surviving with crypto in 2018. From my opinion and my side, I can say that 2018 learnt us to have more patience in crypto then you will be succeeded.

A good lesson I learned in 2018 was that Technical Analysis doea not applyin crypto. The biggest issue with Technical Analysis is that the market can change very quickly.

The whole idea of Technical Analysis is the assumption that news is factored into the price but when new news comes out, it would invalidate the Technical Analysis so having a bot do the job will be able to constantly update the analysis done.

I didn't get the hang of anything genuine, however as regular I comprehended that the digital currency market was still controlled by controllers and will further be controlled, and now I am certain that controllers can raise the cost of bitcoin to 20k$ in minutes or they can kill bitcoin cost to 1k$ for a similar a few minutes.

I think, in 2018, btc rise its highest price at that time, but it growing down,
In this year, 2021, of course the same thing will happen, slowly but sure btc and othee crypto will be down too, I will invest right now but I won't hodl for so long, remember btc is not long-term investment
