Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2019

In 2018 ICOs were struggling with fund raising and I think it will  be the same in 2019 if the bear market continuous.
I will not investing this year in ICOs as I had negative experience with them last year. I do not want my funds to be
stucked and waiting for the token distribution for  months to be delivered and listed on exchanges.

I think the hype of icos are already dead in 2018. Cause we saw many scam and failed project related to icos. So investors are kind of hopeless. But still there is many good project also those are work very hard to reach at some level. I think as soon as possible we need ico regulation to verify icos and good project to invest. Only regulation can still this kind of ico scams for real. And in 2019 I think sto take a market. Cause sto s are very much popular now and investors give some interest in stos. Let's see hope 2019 will be good for token and icos both

Since 2018 ICOs are no more appealing as before and many lose interest already ,I personally stop investing in new ICOs because we always end up buying tokens at a very high price and we can't sell it off because it will never reach that price we buy at ICO time I hope this 2019 will be different

I'll participate and will invest if we can find a way to weed out this scam and duplicate project in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, there's to many of it, even those rating sites did not help there are still a lot of failed and scam project.

It really depends on the ICO, are you willing to support project that has no real life use? Of course we need to be very choosy and careful on ICO we wanted to support as investor. Even bounty hunters needs to do that as well so that you won't be suck in by a lot of scam project running rampant around.

I think 2019 will be the year of STO and not ICO, we can see that in 2018 most ICOS failed to reach their target funds because investors are skeptical. This 2019 STO will have a huge advantage because if the project is regulated investors are more confident that their investment will be safe and worth it.

Many of us in 2018 caught the bait of scammers, it served as a lesson to us and I hope that we have become smarter in choosing projects for investment. How will this year do not know, just say there won't be multimillion-dollar fees from projects ,and if they do then tocoi project deserves attention.

   Hoping too, this year they can adjust through the level of standardized the all ico projects. Definitely very rampant of any form of scam by some of the project that's why too many of the investor are hesitating to invest because of lack of security assurance to their money.

ICO will not be able to survive anymore as per my opinion since a lot of scammer comer up with an idea and start to raise fund while later they run away with the money. So, it's likely to happen that investor will lose interest in ICO, most of them have already lost.

ICOs are not neither trustworthy nor reliable this time around. Emergency of a lot of scam ICOs without anything reasonable to offer has greatly cause panic in investors, this has in turn contributed in part to the dwindling market. We just need few ICOs that have a cogent problem to solve, ICOs need to be regulated in order to build investors trust back.

I think the ICO in 2019 will not be as popular as last 2017, because this year there are many ICO projects that are not true, for example When their token sale fails to collect funds from Investors, they don't reach the target, they bring money Investors who have bought their tokens, this is where ICO starts scary.

My plans are as follows: I, of course, will be tracking the ICO market.
But the question "Will I take part" is more difficult to answer. I think that I will take part in some projects that will have transparent conditions, a real team, a strong idea and a prototype of the finished product.

You were right. Last year, investing in ICO projects yielded large profits, but over time, demand and popularity declined, making it very difficult for projects to raise funds. I very much doubt that the market for ICO projects will be the same because the situation with the regulation of this market is incomprehensible. Therefore, at the moment I personally do not see the point of investing in ICO projects.

ICO business is realy good for Ethereum platform and make more profit from their project, just remember aelf project bring their investor a big profit from their ICO, but in 2018 ICO has changed. Development just think how to get more money without any paid methode ? then the DEV isn't thinking anymore about his project and scammers methode begin at 2018. I saw many project has created with Ethereum Platform and many project used it for steal our money. I think ICO business is not worth anymore, it's like a bet.

I now continue to invest in promising projects as the price of many coins is low. As the market grows the price of project tokens will increase and I will be able to make a good profit.

I think the ICO will still exist in 2019, but it will change a lot from the last year because there will be something new from the project. Maybe the project will adjust something to reach the investor again after many of them are losing trust in many projects. But we don't know what kind of the project will give the offering to the investor because I am sure they will make something different than the last year.

After searching lots of project, Oath protocol is quite impressive as it is based on decentralized governance dispute resolution project.
