ICO is technically dead but thanks of exchanges there were able to come up with innovative way i.e. IEO but we all know this is very unsustainable, for m I think STO is te future and we need to welcome it, there are some registered token that are being approved by SEC now we also need to see how this go, reason being that most of these VCs and Angel investors care less about retail investors and could dump on you

ICOs are not so popular in 2019. But it was in 2017 or even early 2018. But for many reasons they started to falling. One of the main reasons was full of scams and failed project. And the market conditions was also not good. But from early 2029 IEOs became popular and they are working fine. They are more trust worthy than ICOs and less scams are available. So people are interesting to invest in. So maybe ICOs are not popular at this moment bbut IEOs take the place and they works fine.

For the second year in a row, ICO projects have big problems, mainly due to the high level of fraud among them. However, the ICO is still working, albeit slowly. Perhaps the ICO projects would start to recover, however, the prices for altcoins rose very slowly this year following the rise in Bitcoin.
There are still good chances for recovery in ICO projects after the states regulate this type of activity and the level of fraud among them begins to fall sharply.

We are now in year 2019 were IEO was very popular and trending so far, and majority of the community preferred to join and invest on IEO compare to ICO and STO. Only few of the ICO and STO are now really has a potential to give profit to anyone here in the forum. In fact, 2018 most of the ICO went and turned into scam in the end of their project.

One of the few ICOs that I was genuinely excited for was the Ferrum Network couple of days ago. It didn't perform as well as expected after its listing, but I think that its time is coming very soon.
