So far, there is no regulation of the cryptocurrency and ICO market, and that is why we can observe such a number of slag projects. There is of course fresh ideas, but most duplicate the old ones.

I don't think this will end it any time but every day they list another worthless coin in marketcap, they need to disappear or get unlisted from marketcap otherwise market can't build up itself. People invest with hope to become rich these coins but they can't get anything they got just nothing. Just like before the promising project will go on and the other ones will be erased.

most ICO is just adopting an existing platform without creating a new blockchain technology idea, KYC is required for the development team before making an ICO project before being campaigned to reduce ICO scam.

Every month or so, new altcoins get listed to crypto exchanges

But I do not see their "intention" of getting listed in this situation of the market.

What is the point? They are becoming more and more worthless, even up to 0.0007$ or so?

If i overview the technological aspects, most of them are data platforms, service platforms, or reverse-ICOs.

I mean, is Blockchain technology even going to develop further so that it can be commercialized and standardized?

I believe Blockchain technology will be developed or let's say it's getting developed and I believe that it can be commercialized and standardised in future to come. For now Market in its own side just make us to see which projects can be strong enough to withstand.

I fell out long ago and I don't control the ICO market because it is already uninteresting to me. All are tired of countless ICO and they are the cause of such a depression in the market. I think very few will survive this bloodbath.

The crypto space will soon be pruned and scam ICOs or ICOs with no defined goal will be eliminated. Little do i wander when i see coins dump unnecessarily on exchanges.
This will continue to happen, except something is done fast to correct it. There are times that even the tokens that one get from exchanges, if care is not taken, will keep dumping.

A token without a defined product will not have a definite value.

Out of the thousands of cryptocurrencies we have today, only few have a clear intention of what they really want to do or the service they are actually providing. A bunch of them are only in the business of making money. That's all. No value. No unique concept. No contribution to the blockchain development.

I think there is no the final but there is a long way to go. To be honest I never heard about working blockchain projects currently. I still wait for good projects. On bitcointalk I notice 3-4 kind of people. I mean here exists people who are believe in crypto and blockchain technology so all we need it wait for strong teams, ideas and realisation of real projects in real world!

There are more project to start up with blockchain technology. The issue come into play when one start talking about they initiate the projects. I think it is about time we did the projects, make it start working before we conduct icos. Most projects seem to be concentrated with the money they get from the ICO without focusing on the project anymore.

Yes this is very true. But the truth is many projects are conducting an ICO because of that, because of they can start a crowdfunding without any project progress requirement. And the sad truth is, this is 1 of the reason why many project teams are interested in ICO rather than IPO.

It's still early to talk about the final.  Moreover, there are so many projects that end up being fraudulent, that even Sec is not yet able to solve this problem, if only in the near future!
The SEC will certainly be able to regulate; in any case, today many projects will have the opportunity to undergo serious regulation. I hope that you understand today that such a need really exists.
No, they will not, the SEC is powerful but icos are going to do everything they can to avoid their regulations, in fact many icos are not accepting US citizens to invest in their projects and that will keep the SEC out of their way and they will be able to do as they wish like they have been doing since they exist, so even if the need exist for regulation it will not be effective.

I mean, is Blockchain technology even going to develop further so that it can be commercialized and standardized?

Blockchain technology is a unique innovation that has come to stay. As a matter of fact, it has pose to many challenges to the traditional method of transaction and storing data, therefore so many organizations, firms, companies and governments are looking for ways in which they can adopt it, because they have come to realise the usefulness.
Therefore, since blockchain technology has come to stay, definitely cryptocurrency has also come to stay.

You are correct that there is no point to bring new projects in the market, i think there should be channel or body for the regulation of ICO's otherwise people will no point to bring new projects every day also people will not believe or invest in any of the ico.
And what can we do today for this? I think that we cannot do anything good and useful personally. The only thing we can do today. This investment in properly selected projects. We try all the same to do the right analysis.

There are two options for the development of events: or blockchain projects take up the mind and begin to develop, offer really working products, try to do something unique, follow your road map. Or the ICO industry will simply collapse, not having much time to begin. The second option is the saddest.

I see another tendency, some of altcoins are waiting for better market.
Look at Grain or Current or Flux, they collected funds when eth was 600-800$ and all of them don't hit exchange since 6 -8 months of ICO

Of course, the blockchain technology will develop. But this technology is still too young. We hardly see any real use today. The bulk of projects in the crypto market are empty projects that have attracted investment for anything, but not for the development of this technology. At the moment, the crypto market is pure speculation. Players will not pay attention to the technological part of the projects soon ... But it is not a final, it is a start Smiley

Based on my opinion, the Blockchain will continue to grow and develop along with the development of the industry and so on. To find a new altcoin, it will only benefit the price and how the market. What do you think is an altcoin that costs around $ 0,0007 for now?
