Pakistan is near to win the match against Bangladesh. So the last match also is lossing By BD. But In this world Cup Shakib  proved himself. Actually  playing alone nobody  can win all match. Shakib is now like Messi on Argentina, Cristiano Ronaldo on Portugal.   

I do not think it is realistic to compare Shakib with legends like Messi.  Messi and Ronaldo has won so many matches and tournaments for their teams.
Shakib although performed well, but haven't been able to make his team win .

India would like to play today match for the No 1 spot in the WC and then will depend upon how OZ plays against the SA. But would like to end the league matches with winning note and play the best of the cricket so that this will give them confidence before the Semi finals starts next week.

The semi spots are almost finalized, Australia will be facing New Zealand and England and India will be facing in the second semi finals, would be great if  New Zealand and England battle each other in the finals as both have not won the world cup till now and i would like to see them in the finals.
Indian bowlers are tearing up the SriLankan batting line up as they already lost 4 wickets and it is going to be a low scoring match and an easy win for India.

SL have lost few quick wickets but Matthews has helped SL to reach 222 for 5 and Matthews is batting at 100 runs. SL might be able to make around 280 if Matthews bat for another 2-3 overs else India would like to reduce them to 270 maximum.

Today's match was one sided and was not interesting at all. I watch the second innings to see the last spell of Malinga as he will be retiring from international ODI. Although he bowled an expensive spell today but he took 1 wicket which made him at No 3 position for most wickets took in the world cup (56 Wickets).

What do you mean by they not wanting to? India does not have a choice who they face its up to individual team to make get through the stages. Unless you are suggesting a match fixing angle.. this is cricket  after all and match fixing, especially matches that concern India are heavily gambled on.

NZ bowling attack is good. If they can hit some easrly wicketd, India will be in trouble, so far Indian middle order wasn't able to play a big match. We have seen it. On the other hand, NZ batting was so poor in most of the matches of World cup. After all, I think it will be an interesting match.

India has been playing much better than New Zealand but still we can't predict about the result as New Zealand always is an unpredictable team. The world cup stats are slightly in favor for New Zealand. Indian team also has not been invincible in this tournament. They lose to England before wining over a weak team of Sri Lanka.

The chances of happening something in favor of New Zealand is very low because their batting line up is poor. If India bat first and somehow can score 270+, India will easily win the match because their bowling line up is great.

If the matches in Semis were like Aus vs Ind and Eng vs NZ than it would have been better imo.
However, the luck took England's and New Zealand's fate in the hardest way.

The match results can be predicted now, India wins (IND vs NZ) and Australia wins (AUS vs ENG) in semis.

Just hope ENG and NZ will do some magic play.

Don't forget that Australia lost to South Africa and NZ win all the matches with great luck. Everything is possible. I too agree that it would be better to see an India vs Australia semi final, any of the giant will go.

Well, it'd have been a perfect semi-final combination if only India was up against Pakistan, instead of New Zealand. Imagine two Ashes rivals facing each other off in the semi-finals in the first match along with India and Pakistan in the second match. It'd have been a big success for ICC!

It would be very profitable for ICC but you know it would be nothing.much of excitement because Pakistan always lose to India in world cup, even they can't create opportunity. And, I don't think a one sided match is a good one.
