@JSRAW you are right after this series Aussies are clearly third favorite for this world cup they done great job and this all happen on good time so we can saw now they are underdog for this world.

Don't know about the third fav but they are definitely underdog IMO Oz playing next series with Pakistan this month I suppose, right?

Important series for both teams because every team wants to finalize their squad for World cup. Oz would want to continue their winning streak before going to world cup.(very close to win series against India)

On the other hand, Pakistan can use some win here too before playing against England in English condition before the World cup.

Mickey Arthur seems to have brought down the number of players to 19, according to:

But Mickey hasn't made the short-list public yet.

I don't see any new star in this year's PSL, except for Umer Khan of Karachi Kings. I personally think that he should be given a chance in upcoming series against Aussies!

Consider me as an ignorant in this case, had to google his name, I am familiar with his face but seriously can't recall him watching in any game. Because he only

played against only one established team which is South Africa, other than that he appeared against Zimbave and UAE only in ODI.

Or maybe because he's that bad according to you. so I must have didn't even noticed him and he doesn't play test cricket. so another reason not to follow him.

And btw You guys have a factory of Fast bowlers how are we supposed to follow everyone.

Nope

India still in my top 2. some hiccups always come during the journey and sometimes it's necessary to face this kind of hurdle for a reality check.

I am sure the Indian team will take a lesson from recent failure and bounce back with full power in the World Cup.

With the recent win of OZ , OZ are back again in the hunt and Smith and Warner to return to the world cup will make more difference to the site. On other hand India will have Dhoni back as well which will be crucial for them too. It will be interesting to see how India takes themself and what will be the playing squad.

Lol. Seriously? One series loss and you think India deserves to go down to the 3rd or 4th position? Stupidity at its finest.

The current Indian team were actually experimenting with certain players and they still managed to give Australia a run for their money though Australia managed to seal the deal brilliantly.

The current Indian team created history by defeating Australia and New Zealand by defeating them in their own backyard.

Because of IPL now a days 400+ is not even safe in 50 over format. Cricket is now more focused on Betting performance. By the way, non of you are watching the PSL Eliminator 1  match?

Yeah True, because of this, IPL literally jump-started many careers, domestic and International players both and it changed the world cricket. bad or good it's another debate.

I hardly follow IPL religiously. so PSL is out of the option for me unless I want to see some fine bowling performance.

Islamabad United finally won the match. It was really entertaining match. Until the 2nd last over, it was hard to predict who will win especially the bookies were really confuse.

So, we are going to have 2nd Eliminator with Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi. I think I will pick Islamabad again and in that case the final will be in between Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators.

May be Quetta Gladiators will be the champion :-)

It's actually exciting to me. Before we used to see test matches playing 5 long days without any result. They were not hitting the balls but staying in the pitch like a dead man. It was boring to see. If you don't play then why are you in the pitch at the first place.

Now a days, we hardly see draw tests.

Test cricket should be the ultimate test for any cricketer-team, and if any batsman or team is playing in a test match as they play in 20-20 mode, then it is pathetic.
99 times of 100 they are going to fail if choosing that approach. That's why we are witnessing so many matches finishing within 3 days.

I don't mind batsmen playing aggressively in test cricket, its exciting for spectator too but play longer for f***sake because there is a reason its called 5-day cricket-Test cricket ( Test of cricketing skill)

Swinging bat in a Test match is very easy. Every club cricketer can do this on his best day and get quick 50-80runs sometime 100 too because in test format field position is entirely different in comparison of shorter format. The real challenge is batting all session and making big runs 100-200-300 and so on.
