I have no idea. in my opinion, things like that can happen at any time. Have you ever seen eth prices when want to hardfork? eth prices rise but btc prices do not rise. so, things like that don't matter. you can invest in both if you want.
you're right, if you want to get profit you can buy both. bitcoin and ethereum are the two coins that benefit from all crypto today. even when the market falls we can get profits from daily trading. |

Bitcoin is in the top of the market chart and I think it will remain it's position. If you see marketcap then you will find that more than half of the whole marketcap is hold by Bitcoin. There is many reasons one of them is it is the oldest crypto and people have trust on it and it is accepted almost most the place first. Second reason is people know this crypto currency market by Bitcoin so whoever come to this space knows Bitcoin. And there is many reasons like limited supply and almost every coin in every exchange is paired with Bitcoin so daily turn over is very huge for Bitcoin. And ethereum is not in the top because people like it but it is just a platform based token and accepting blockcahain platform is not that much popular and it has a very huge supply. And many more.

I see that BTC and ETH are two coins that have the highest capitalization in Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always maintains current prices.
Why did that happen? And now, I have to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum?

Investing in BTC or ETH all depends on you, I think everyone has their own observations and choices. If I myself would prefer to invest part of it into BTC, some ETH and some other coins that I think have great potential to provide benefits. I prefer Ethereum and think that this coin is too undervalued. Ethereum is used everywhere, as payment method between community members, as a fund collecting method by all ICOs and so on. Moreover a great update is coming pretty soon.

Ethereum is more volatile than bitcoin because its value price is still low compared to Bitcoin which is above 5000 dollars. So, if you are looking for to asset has potential to double in price or ever more, Eth could be a nice pick up asset, having that said, you should be aware that big potential profit always comes with high risk.

I suggest, you should hold BTC and if you can invest in XRP,TRON than you should buy little amount for long term, you can buy ETH but little amount , the best advice is to hold BTC.

Lately, Ethereum is not the 2nd highest market cap coin anymore, it's ripple now. If you have enough fund to invest, I of course, suggest you to invest in both of those. Put much percentage in bitcoin to avoid risk and less in ETH. For example, 60%-70% on bitcoin and 30%-40% on ETH. That will be a good idea.

lots of coins fall in value so it's a good time to buy them and just do them both. if you only have a little capital, it's better to choose Ethereum and other Altcoin that have low value but potentially. if you have big capital, it's better to choose Bitcoin and other Altcoin, because Bitcoin is not as low as other Altcoin but has advantages that other Altcoin don't have. it's up to you because it's your right, hopefully it's the best. |
