This is great. I have heard pro gold heads argument that metals are alsways better as they can never fail where as bitcoin would be useless if there was no internet/power however, this is a step in the direction to solving this. Its got a long way too go but very cool indeed

Internet is becoming very popular, and a huge percentage of the population now has access to smart phones.
Bitcoin without internet, may not do much in terms of bitcoin adoption, but it's a development. Amd would make Bitcoin more flexible and easily accessible.

There's plenty of areas without internet on Planet Earth.
And while it's easy for us to ignore them, these are the territories where people actually need bitcoin the most, in order to escape slavery.
So both the satellite and cointext are amazing innovations that bring justice to people who are often forgotten by westerners.

Totally agree with you mate. Here in my country internet connection sucks we pay more than the services we got due to the slow connection we've got from internet service providers. Data connection is also not guaranteed to be stable as network coverage is very poor in my area and some other places. I think technological advancements on the use of satellite for the Bitcoiners to connect even without internet connection is a huge development and help to each and every Bitcoin enthusiast most especially the Bitcoin community.

It is a great idea because even the world seems like very advance in technology still majority or regions do not have any resources in IT which is a major reason why not just bitcoin but any form of digital payment system haven't reach widely in the world but with this great invention Bitcoin can expand more than current existing payment systems and reach majority of people to make it more usable and provide more profit for its user's

Probably this will be a good advancement for everyone,but at this point ai dont see anything to be done like this speciallu like in bitcoin it involves thousands of transactions everyday and it is pretty impossible for each to connect with other people without the aide of internet connections that we are using today specially in social media which here is also a very important thing like for signature campaigns.

Because bitcoin is an internet currency, so to transact we need an internet network, there is also a blockstream using bitcoin without internet, hopefully this can happen.

This is actually one of the great advancement in the usage of bitcoin! You can now use bitcoin without an internet which is great! Bitcoin is now closing to be actually used as a currency. Very excited for the future! Could this be one of the causes that bitcoin is somehow recovering?

I think can Bitcoin not use the internet? it can't even be without the internet because it's logically unable to access when there is no connectivity and I think it's very ridiculous

in my opinion this is a rapid progress if we can access crypto currencies without using the internet network. but that can only be enjoyed by a few people. not everyone in the world can connect with blockstream satleit. so that the internet network is still needed so that all people in the world can access crypto currencies.
