ETH is the king of scam icos.

Blame the scam, not the platform. Everyone free to make their own token to a development purpose of the project, ethereum not moderated all project on their platform. Its your dutty to review the project its good or not.

Yes it is true that ethereum not moderate all project on their platform so that you have to come out with a great project.However there is nothing to prove now that Ethereum was great project and ICO's .Yo even don't have anything to show the platform did any wrong on ICO.

I see no reason to compare these two different coins.  But I still think that ethereum is the best of all, and that it is one of the most powerful and successful projects.

It's the support that will determine which is the project to step up between the two, with support level right now it's still  far that Waves able to replace ETH
investment wise and usage there's still more investors who keep to trust ETH and still holding and using the platform, making this statement into reality there'sa lots of works for Waves to be done before claiming to replace ETH.

   Both have strong support. Ethereum and Waves are growing platforms with so many developers working on new DApp`s. Ethereum is older and bigger, Waves will have
to do and grow a lot more before they can replace Ethereum, that may never happen cause Ethereum is growing too, all the time.
   What will happen in far future is impossible to speculate, but in near future Ethereum and Waves will stay on the same positions where they are now. Personally I like
both platforms, but I give Ethereum slight advantage, I use Ethereum more than Waves.

This both cryptocurrencies market has been fall down completely from the end of December 2017.

waves platform is one of the good one for the people who were expecting decentralized exchange usage. Smart contract platform in ethereum maybe grows more than waves.

Its not just about the high liquidity or community but the active research and development of the network consistently performed by he foundation unlike waves that little or less rely on its obsolete usecases and technology. Technology is fast and transient and must be always updated

I couldn't see a good reason for waves to replace eth, because it has no strong community as compared to ethereum. Few projects were silently associated with waves, and I think it wasn't growing or not gaining fast market demand.

-much higher scalability
-instant transactions (with lo cost)
-new dissemination of waves tech to public and private entities
-turing incomplete dApps less risky than turing complete (DAO experience), anyway waves support both categories.

If you still confront some months ago ethereum with other protocols (who remember cryptokitties era...?) was more problematic, easy to load by some contract spamming gas burners... now it`s really fast and low-cost.

I don't think that Waves can replace Eth anything. Those projects despite the similarity have absolutely different purposes, community, ideology. I'm sure ETH will be winner definitely but today he has some troubles that should be solved

ETH is having a lot of trouble and lack of development during this period, but in general, if eth is so bad, the wave is even in a worse situation, almost investors have gradually turned the wave into an unfamiliar name while eth may fail, but at least, people often take care of it. And this is a world where the project will develop and survive based on the community, once the community has stopped caring, it means that the project is ready for liquidation, sooner or later, waves will fall to the bottom of the bottom, so it cannot replace eth

Waves isnt just a project like others because waves is already a well known coin . waves shows its worth while other projects are still on their planning phase without any assurance if they will continue and became succesful  . now to the comparison of waves vs etherium , we can clearly see that eth is doing well based on its value but the competition isnt all about the price ,  waves can still offer good service in a lesser cost  .

This is the problem with investors, they are all speculators with no interest in the coin other than to make money. They do not care that Waves has active research and very less marketing. People prefer things like Tron, so little research so much marketing. Waves has so much more potential but it is not getting the price it deserves just because it is Russian based.

I never thought that waves would be able to defeat Ethereum.  Although both of these coins both have a large community, but Ethereum is still more popular and more interested by investors, this makes the Ethereum value always higher.

Waves does have good development, both in terms of instant transactions to high scalability. it can even be compared to ETH. however, I feel that many people are more interested in using ETH than waves. whether it's because of habit, or because of something else. I just feel that waves need better development for the future in order to replace ETH.

I also feel like that, WAVES is hard to replace Ethereum, because if we see the Ethereum Team is more innovative than the WAVES Team. A good team is a main element that is crucial in running a project or a company. So its very hard WAVES can replace Ethereum.

Waves never replace the Ethereum because nowadays the Waves blockchain is not that much of demand for the token creation by the project builder. I don't think waves can replace ethereum in terms of popularity of usage. Waves dex has not gain a lot of traders as compared to different eth decentralized exchanges. So getting even with eth is still very far from waves. Just my thoughts...

Waves compared with ethereum is totally different and I never expect that it will happen, because their platform isn't compatible with each other. Erc20 contract has it's own network developments backed up with other tokens whose promoting new market. As per observations waves and other coins wasn't gaining good community nowadays, so it's not possible that investors will divert to this type of platform.
