@cryptolemaik Currently this coin is trapped by whims of AP and complete neglect by Payu. If Payu wants to neglect it completely and do the work on the ground, he needs to free it from AP as well. Or let it go completely from his control. Better it controlled by noone than by AP. It can help immensely Lakotas by the publicity it has already got. People can donate to corresponding organizations. At the very least, it won't be used by some parasite to launch another coin.

@49er Need wider support for it. It's technically possible. Will require shifting the genesis block forward. But will require others to switch to new wallets once that change is done.

but the bulk of my btc i put in mzc....because i believed in the cause....

i dont expect any profit at all from mzc...

@cryptolemaik If you can reach out to Payu, try to convince him to better leave social media/server access to someone more dependable. Just looking at Twitter feed, it's obvious AP is controlling it. People support Payu and his cause. Let there be no doubt about it. But he needs to understand that recent development does not bore well for his cause at all. They have weakened it. If concerns about AP's involvement was raised earlier than Payu should pay more attention to this. After all, it's a crypto currency. A currency more suited for technical age. Even if he wants to champion the cause of having a separate currency, he's doing it by this channel and hence all the support so far. So yeah, implore him for these concerns.

In the interim, I would like to see if members and community here would be interested in proposal to move to a different blockchain.

Let this be completely clear 49er. If this coin dies, there be no benefit in having those premines. So, there's bigger concern here. Only reason to do that would be to get the coin out of the influence (or reduce it) which is not being used properly.

I've tried friend, I've tried. I've offered to be a community manager, I've offered to surrender my entire holdings to the premine fund to help him on the ground for free, because I live in an area with a lot of other native Americans and I wanted to educate them about MazaCoin, as Payu said he does wish to reach out. I've offered nothing but help, I don't expect anyone to believe what I type here, but I have reached out, and I was sincere about being ready to be a gung ho idealist and get out there and put time into making this revolution happen. But at this point, the management of this thing from all angles... as much as I love Payu's vision, and as much as I believe he is sincere in the talks I've seen... I do not have so much faith these days in his ability to manage the crypto market's waters. This could all be moot, because he could just be ready to put in years and wait out much of the heavy mining period... but I don't think it has to be that way, and I bet he would prefer it wasn't. I however, cannot force the man to let me help him. I've offered to manage this thread, I've offered to mod the reddit, I've offered to meet people in person and educate native business leaders and government officials (I have friends of friends) about the general idea. I don't know what else I can do. I can't even get much of an acknowledgment - I have emailed Payu and am friends with him on Facebook (yes it's the real deal), and he's read my messages but he never replies. They either don't believe me, or Payu just doesn't have the resources/time to manage it all in his head and so is doing it one man army style, he'll show 'em all in the end, etc. I hope it works, I really do. I unfortunately can't soldier on for years - I offered to hit the warpath NOW and get this fucker rolling, he's not ready for war.
